CASA GRANDE — Georgia M. Moore, 83, died peacefully on June 29, 2021, in Casa Grande.
Mrs. Moore was born on Aug. 13, 1937, at home, where her mother made the delivery herself. She was a daughter of George and Tressie Spradling.
She loved spending time with and taking care of her family along with traveling. Her giving nature made everyone feel like they belonged wherever she was, and they were always welcome in her home, especially if she could feed them.
She was a caring and loving mother who was very committed to her five children, Terry, Gene Jr., Orville, Becky and Henrietta Moore. Other survivors include two sisters, Eunice Skeen and Gail Martin; six grandchildren, some of whom she helped raise; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Earl Gene Moore; her later fiancé, Donald Gibson; and three siblings, James and Carl Spradling and Rosalee Holmes.
Graveside service at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13, in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Charleston, West Virginia.
