CASA GRANDE — Eugene L. "Gene" Sudduth Jr., 75, died on March 31, 2021, in Casa Grande.
Mr. Sudduth was born on July 21, 1945, to Ruby (Jinkins) and Eugene Sudduth Sr. in Sedalia, Missouri.
He was a talented artist and spent the last 28 years in Casa Grande building and designing signs at his business, Quality Signworks.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Sharon Elizabeth Sudduth; a son and daughter, Eugene L. Sudduth III of McKinney, Texas, and Brandy O. Rigewell of La Junta, Colorado; three stepdaughters, Carol Tapia of Tucson, Rhonda Hernandez of Phoenix and Serena Smith of Casa Grande; three siblings, Linda Hardy of Post Falls, Idaho, Barbara Weatherspoon and James Sudduth of Sedalia; seven grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren; and 13 stepgreat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert; a stepdaughter, Leda; and a stepgranddaughter, Carrie. His mother preceded him in death by three days.
