CASA GRANDE — Emaloy (Stonecipher) Bell, 84, a lifelong Casa Grande resident and retired teacher, died at Hospice of the Valley Dobson House in Chandler on Nov. 28, 2019. 

Mrs. Bell was born in Phoenix on Nov. 11, 1935, to Loy and Glenda (Clay) Stonecipher. After attending Arizona State College in Tempe, she taught in Casa Grande at the old Central School and at Palo Verde and Mesquite elementary schools.

She loved her family and, in addition to teaching, loved to read and work in her gardens.

Survivors include a brother, retired Col. Roy Stonecipher; two sons, David and Paul Bell; five grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, and a daughter, Pamela (Bell) Pangburn.

At Mrs. Bell's request, no funeral will be held. Burial at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4, in Mountain View Cemetery, followed by an informal celebration of her life at the home of her granddaughter, Audriana (Bell) Castellanos, 1654 E. Bishop Court in Casa Grande.
