MARICOPA — Elizabeth Carol Boyett, 74, of Maricopa died on Oct. 4, 2021.

Mrs. Boyett was born on Dec. 2, 1946, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Albert Nueva and Bertha Manupau.

She was in every essence a mother. She not only cared for her family but would care for those who needed help. Her personality was warm and she had an optimistic outlook for life. She worked in health insurance for more than 20 years. She enjoyed traveling and visiting new places. She collected porcelain dolls and White House replicas. Her family remembers gatherings, especially around Christmas, and enjoying each other’s company. She met her husband of 49 years at her church and knew instantly that he was going to be her husband to raise her family with.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmie Lee Boyett Sr.; four children, Jimmie Jr., Jamie, Tammie and Jeremie; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 12 brothers and sisters; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.
