ELOY — Eddie “Ed” Lujan, 47, died on May 31, 2021, at Del Sol Hospital in El Paso, Texas, surrounded by his loving nurses and doctor.
Mr. Lujan was born on Sept. 5, 1973, in Casa Grande. He had a great sense of humor and was always a jokester. He had a big heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
He had many titles but his proudest was being a father and grandfather. He loved spending time with family and friends, listening to music, playing cards and horseshoes, and being outdoors.
He is survived by his parents, Efren and Natalie Lujan; his fiancée, Adalina Garza of Casa Grande; a son and daughter, Eddie Jr. of Killeen, Texas, and Brianna Lujan of Stanfield; two brothers, EJ Lujan and Andy Lujan of Casa Grande; three sisters, Christina L. Cook and Clare Lujan of Casa Grande and Samantha Lujan of Flagstaff; and three granddaughters. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Willie Martinez Sr., Federico and Reynaldo Lujan and Nino Willie Martinez Jr., and a brother, Army Staff Sgt. Israel P. Nuanes.
Rosary recited at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 10, at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church. Funeral Mass celebrated at 10. Burial in Eloy Memorial Park.
