COOLIDGE — Cecil DeWayne Williams, 75, of Tucson and formerly of Coolidge, died on Aug. 3, 2019, in Tucson.
Mr. Williams was born on Aug. 26, 1943, to Olan and Lois (Romines) Williams in Florence. He attended Coolidge schools and enlisted in the Army in 1961. He worked the majority of his career as a sales representative in the oil industry in Texas and retired from Whitney Supply as the company's sales representative.
His love for family and faith gave him strength as the patriarch of the family. He was a wonderful example of love, service and unselfishness. He is remembered and loved by many as having a strong work ethic, a beautiful sense of humor, being the keeper of the family stories and founder of the Coolidge Memories page on Facebook for all to share their sweet stories with others.
He is survived by six daughters and two sons, Tammy Brown, Tina Leos, Tonya Novak, Triva Williams, Tangie Smith, Lisa Breeden, Eddie and Stanley Williams; 36 grandchildren; and 46 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wives, Virginia Canamore, Bonnie Lou Cobb and Linda Jo Tennison; a daughter, Sharlet Williams; and two brothers, Don and Olan Williams.
Memorial service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Coolidge.
