LOWER SANTAN — Connie Marie Miguel, 54, of Lower Santan died on April 28, 2021, at home.
Mrs. Miguel was born on May 2, 1966, in Sacaton to Melvin and Sara Osife. She was a basket dancer and was second runner-up for Ms. Gila River. She was a cheerleader for the Coolidge High School Bears and attended Central Arizona College.
On Nov. 22, 1986, she married Rupert Miguel. She worked for the Arizona Department of Economic Security in Coolidge, the Indian Health Service in Sacaton and was a gaming inspector for Wild Horse Pass Casino for 14-plus years. She loved old-school music and being around family and friends. She was always willing to help anyone in need.
She is survived by her husband and a brother, John Osife of Lower Santan. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, James and Melvin Osife.
