CASA GRANDE — Christopher Ray De Leon, 59, died on Jan. 9, 2021, at Chandler Regional Medical Center.
Mr. De Leon was born in Casa Grande on Jan. 18, 1961, one of eight children. He was raised in Casa Grande and graduated from Casa Grande Union High School. He spent his years living in Casa Grande and Las Vegas, with the later years back in Casa Grande.
He was a very kind and giving man with a great heart and a strong man who fought all the obstacles that got in his way, never losing hope.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cresencio S. De Leon; his mother, Teresa M. De Leon; and his oldest brother, Cresencio M. De Leon Jr. He was followed in death by his younger sister, Virginia M. De Leon Wingate, on Feb. 11. Survivors include three daughters and a son, Letitia Jones of St. George, Kansas, Cristina De Leon of Tucson, Christopher De Leon of Chaparral, New Mexico, and Micaela De Leon of Las Vegas; two brothers, Jose Jesus De Leon of Las Vegas and Jose Angel De Leon of Casa Grande; three sisters, Rachel M. De Leon Troell of Casa Grande, Teresa M. De Leon Colwell of Chandler and Roxanne De Leon Anchondo of Casa Grande; and nine grandchildren.
