CASA GRANDE — Bonnie L. Hagee, 91, died on Sept. 6, 2021, at her home in Casa Grande, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Hagee was born in Taft, California, on Dec. 4, 1929, to Walter and Lida Shell. She worked for the state of Arizona from 1958 until her retirement in 1988. She received the Ann Kaiser Award as well as the Governor’s Award for her exceptional work with mentally disabled children. After retirement, she continued her work with special needs children by serving as a member of the Human Rights Committee, ensuring that their health and welfare were top priority. She was respected and admired by both her colleagues and clients.
She enjoyed life to the fullest. Her love for family and her faith in the Lord were her greatest joy and testimony.
She was preceded in death by three brothers; four sisters; her husband, Billie; a daughter, Carol Hagee; and two granddaughters, Sheila Thompson and Latisha Robinette Boyd. She is survived by three daughters, Charlotte Stewart, Cathy Tacker and Cindy Robinette; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral at noon on Saturday, Sept. 11, at CrossRoads Church, with Pastor Tim Hill officiating and visitation one hour prior. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery.
