MARICOPA -- Professional mediator Marty Chadwick is the featured speaker at the Maricopa Center for Entrepreneurship’s Achieve Workshop this Wednesday from 6-7:30 p.m.

MCE officials said this workshop will focus on how meditation can help with disputes and helping individual people as well as businesses to create pathways to solutions and finds the process of facilitating positive outcomes genuinely satisfying.

Chadwick has extensive corporate experience in executive management, primarily within the information technology and healthcare industries. His experiences with a variety of companies and cultures involved actively negotiated mutually agreeable solutions for a variety of interpersonal and business conflicts.

He has participated in numerous team-building and sensitivity training programs and has completed more than 100 hours of formal mediation training.

Chadwick is a cum laude graduate of Western New England School of Law, where he received a J.D. degree, and has a bachelor’s degree in political science. During law school, and as a practicing attorney, Chadwick focused on negotiating for juveniles and the disabled, as well as assisting clients with uncontested divorces, including separation agreements, child support and parenting plans.

Wired takes place Tuesday, Dec. 20 from 8-9:30 a.m. at MCE, 20800 N. John Wayne Pkwy. Suite 108.

All business sizes and types are welcome to come to learn and share. This workshop will teach the benefits of social media, including revenue generation, brand development, attracting customers, referrals and networking, research on the competition, position availability/job placement, and above all – SEO discoverability. At the same time, this free workshop is about each business sharing what it has learned by doing.

This month’s Wired host, Tami Johnson, has worked in corporate America for more than 12 years. She has also been self-employed in three different businesses for nearly 21 years.

She worked with companies such as Motel 6 Corporate, Mission Linen Industries, and Kinko’s headquarters. Johnson was self-employed in a trucking company for aggregate hauling, and the owner and director of a child care learning center. Today she is an independent associate offering legal service plans and identity theft shield.
