SACATON — The FBI and Gila River Police Department are offering a reward for information involving a double homicide on the Gila River Indian Community.
According to a press release from the Gila River Police Department, the double homicide occurred on July 25 in the area of District 4 of the community. The $1,000 reward is for any information that leads to an arrest in the case. District 4 encompasses the north-central part of the reservation north of the Gila River and includes Wild Horse Pass.
The FBI is not releasing any information on the homicide because it is an ongoing investigation, said Brooke Brennan, a public affairs specialist with the FBI’s Phoenix-Tucson Resident Agency.
