MARICOPA — Maricopa Flood Control District President Dan Frank has announced the end of his campaign for County Supervisor for District 4. Previously calling himself an “underdog” in the race against Jeff McClure and Marlene Pearce for the title, he has decided his position with the Flood Control District and his seat as a commissioner on the Planning and Zoning Board are where his priorities lie at this time.
“Due to other commitments and responsibilities, I have decided to end my campaign for Pinal County District 4 Supervisor. I simply do not have the time necessary to devote toward the campaign or the obligations of the office,” Frank wrote in an email.
He made sure to thank his supporters and those who endorsed him for the role, and wished his former competitors good luck in what is sure to be a tough race.
“I appreciate all of those who have supported and encouraged me to this point. I look forward to continuing to serve the community in my current positions as Maricopa Flood Control District President and Planning & Zoning Commissioner,” Frank said. “I wish the other candidates well in their endeavors.”
