AARP Literacy Programs seeks volunteer tutors

Casa Grande Elementary students are improving their reading skills with a one-to-one tutorial program being conducted with the AARP Foundation Experience Corps.

CASA GRANDE — The American Association of Retired Persons Foundation Experience Corps’ literacy improvement program in the Casa Grande Elementary School District has been so successful that plans are underway to expand the program into the Coolidge and Stanfield school districts, a press release from local organizers of the program said.
