APACHE JUNCTION -- Firefighters were able to resuscitate a four-day-old puppy rescued from a burning Apache Junction home.

Monday evening Superstition Fire & Medical crews crews responded to a structure fire in the area of Val Vista Boulevard and 4th Avenue. The crews were able to rescue the  puppy that suffered from smoke inhalation.

Engineer Ryan Ledbetter recorded the rescue on his helmet camera as firefighters used a “Fidobag” to provide oxygen to the puppy. Firefighters say the puppy is doing fine.
