SUPERIOR — Superior Police Department officers were able to recover a water truck that was stolen from Mesa and arrested a man who was found sleeping inside.
According to Pinal County Superior Court records, Nathanael R. Disher, 21, a transient, is facing a single charge of theft of means of transportation.
According to court records, an employee of the company reported that the truck was stolen overnight from a field near his apartment on Sept. 28. The company was able to trace the truck using GPS to the 1100 block of West U.S. 60 in Superior.
When officers arrived they found Disher sleeping in the truck. Disher appeared to be disoriented and was not able to provide his full name. Paperwork found on Disher showed that he had been cited for trespassing by Gilbert Police officers on property that was about 4 miles from where the truck was stolen.
