SAN MANUEL — A suspected drunken driver was arrested after an early-morning fatal collision Tuesday in eastern Pinal County.

At 3:53 a.m. the Pinal County Sheriff's Office received an emergency call about a traffic collision at West Webb Drive and West Main Street in San Manuel.

A 2014 Nissan Maxima, driven by 42-year-old Alex Lujan, crashed into the rear of a parked steel utility trailer. A passenger in the Nissan was Elizabeth Raschke, 44, who sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Lujan was transported to a hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.

Lujan was arrested and booked into the Pinal County jail for manslaughter and DUI and is being held on $25,000 bond.
