APACHE JUNCTION — A 24-year-old man is being held on suspicion of aggravated assault after allegedly brandishing a gun at two people in Apache Junction.

David C. Kammes was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct with a weapon and aggravated assault.

According to Apache Junction Police, officers were called out around 1:15 p.m. on Jan. 30 to a report of aggravated assault in the 300 block of South Silver Drive. A man at the location told officers that he was allegedly punched in the face and then held at gunpoint by Kammes.

Later the same day, officers received another report of Kammes brandishing a gun at a different man in the same area.

Officers later located Kammes, who was allegedly found in possession of a handgun, and taken into custody. He was booked into the Pinal County jail without incident.
