Eloy firefighters were called out to a structure fire Friday afternoon and found a backyard building fully engulfed in the 500 block of West Ninth Street.

ELOY — The Eloy Fire District responded to a structure fire around 5 p.m. on Friday.
The detached structure in the backyard of a home in the 500 block of West Ninth Street was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived, said district spokesman Robert Maestas. Firefighters were able to douse the flames and keep the fire from reaching the house.
No one was injured in the fire. However, the structure was a complete loss. Firefighters are investigating to determine the cause of the fire.
