RED ROCK – Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers are looking for a damaged semi-truck after it was involved in a hit and run accident on Interstate 10 near Red Rock that sent two people to the hospital.

The accident took place around 10 p.m. Thursday in the eastbound lanes of the freeway near milepost 229 between Red Rock and Marana, according to DPS. The semi struck a tow truck and two tow truck operators who were working on the side of the road.

The tow truck operators are currently in the hospital with serious injuries, said DPS spokesperson Bart Graves.

The semi truck may have damage to its front right and right side. The passenger side headlight may also be damaged and the headlights may have a blue tint.
