PICACHO PEAK — The Arizona Department of Public Safety has identified the drivers of two vehicles who died in a wrong-way collision on Interstate 10 Wednesday afternoon.
At 3:52 p.m. a Chevrolet sedan driven by Ernesto Molina, 30, of Tucson was going the wrong way in the left lane of eastbound I-10, according to DPS spokesman Bart Graves.
Molina’s vehicle collided head-on with a Hyundai Accent driven by Kimberly Skelley, 50, of Tucson, who was eastbound, Graves stated in an email. Both vehicles had only one occupant, and both drivers were declared dead at the scene.
It is unknown if impairment was a factor in the collision.
