An officer responded to a report of theft on West Adamsville Road. A male reportedly attempted to steal alfalfa but returned it when he was confronted. The officer made contact with a male who matched the description, and Vidal P. Garcia, 74, was issued a criminal citation for theft.
An officer responded to a two-car accident without injuries at Hunt Highway and Felix Road. Cheyenne Solomonson, 20, was cited for speed.
An officer was dispatched to an accident at Sixth and Quartz streets. Olajuwon A. Rodgers was delivering a piece of equipment that was too tall, which became caught on a wire, and he struck a pole. No injuries were reported. Rodgers, 33, was cited for vehicle exceeding height without a permit.
An officer stopped two vehicles driving recklessly in the area of Florence-Kelvin Highway and Dogwood Road. Aaron L. Booth, 22, and Trinity H. Olson, 19, were each issued a criminal citation for reckless driving and exhibition of speed. They were each also civilly cited for speed passing in a no-passing zone.
An officer was dispatched to a possible assault in progress on North Pinal Street. Jody M. Flores, 49, was arrested and booked into jail on charges of assault and criminal damage.
An ATV was reported stolen from a back yard on East Gressinger Street.
