Feb. 24

Ever Margot Caruso, 19, was cited and released on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

An officer was dispatched to an unknown emergency on South Pinal Parkway. Two males advised another male had threatened and assaulted them. A charging review packet will be forwarded to the appropriate prosecuting attorney’s office for determination of charges.

An officer was dispatched to a non-injury accident on North Pinal Parkway. A driver stated he was stopped and waiting for a school bus when he was struck from behind by the other car. David Colter was cited for failure to control speed to avoid a collision.

Feb. 26

An officer responded to a non-injury accident at State Route 79B and Florence Heights Drive. Joseph R. Quinonez, 34, was cited for failure to control speed to avoid a collision.

Feb. 27

Jonathan P. Padron, 24, was cited and released on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

An officer was dispatched to a report of a hit-and-run accident on North Pinal Parkway. A railroad maintenance worker advised an unknown vehicle had struck the southbound railroad crossing arm. The case is closed pending more information.

Feb. 29

An officer was dispatched to a burglary alarm around 1:30 a.m. on North Pinal Parkway. The manager arrived and provided access to the business. Richard Mills Jr., 34, was located inside. He was later arrested and booked into jail on charges of criminal trespass, burglary, disorderly conduct, criminal nuisance, possession of a dangerous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Johann Martinez, 33, was cited and released on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

March 1

An officer was dispatched to a report of shoplifting on North Pinal Parkway. The reporting party advised the suspect shoplifted beer and was able to identify the suspect. An attempt to locate the suspect was unsuccessful. A charging review packet will be forwarded to the appropriate prosecuting attorney’s office for determination of charges.

Christopher Lovell, 32, was arrested and booked into jail on charges of assault, criminal damage and disorderly conduct.
