The Police Report is compiled from Florence Police Department reports. The only names published are those of adults who were cited, arrested or involved in a traffic accident. Suspects named in this column are innocent until proven guilty. Tuesday, Sept. 8

Miguel A. Salazar, 39, was arrested and booked into jail for five warrants. He was also cited for driving on a suspended license.

Officers responded to a report of domestic violence not-in-progress on North Princeton Drive. The people stated they were separated and the male had arrived to visit the children. Both stated they were discussing an incident when it started to become physical. As the people did not live together, a charging review packet will be forwarded to the town attorney for determination of charges.

Wednesday, Sept. 9

Jasmina M. Lopez, 19, was cited and released on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Joshua Heston, 34, was arrested on a warrant.

Thursday, Sept. 10

Dallas D. O’Dell, 29, was cited on a charge of Super Extreme DUI and other DUI charges, and having an open container. He was released to a responsible party.

A two-car accident was reported near East Judd and North Felix roads. Amanda L. Kirk, 25, was attempting to make a U-turn when the accident occurred. She was cited for improper turning movement and failure to signal.

Friday, Sept. 11

Juan Coria Martinez, 29, was arrested on a warrant.

Saturday, Sept. 12

Thefts from a yard were reported on West Trenton Way.

Sunday, Sept. 13

An officer was dispatched to a welfare check on a male who was reportedly slumped over in a truck near South Pinal Parkway and East Florence Heights Drive. Upon the officer’s arrival, the male was alert and talking. Florence Fire was called for a medical evaluation. It was determined the male could refuse further medical attention. The male stated he ran out of gas. During the investigation the male was asked if there were weapons or drugs in the vehicle. He replied yes and a search was completed. The male was given a ride to a gas station to wait for a friend. He was advised charges were being forwarded to the Pinal County Attorney’s Office for determination of charges.

Katherine R. Lopez, 28, speed, no proof of insurance.

Carlos M. Harris Jr., 21, speed, no proof of insurance.

Luis F. Ramirez, 20, speed, no valid driver’s license.

Juvenile male, 16, speed, no valid license.

Gaspar A. Luna Jr., 29, no current registration.

Anita L. VanWagoner, 79, stop sign.

Christian E. Haddock, 23, stop sign.
