The Police Report is compiled from Florence Police Department reports. The only names published are those of adults who were cited, arrested or involved in a traffic accident. Suspects named in this column are innocent until proven guilty. Anyone whose arrest appears in this column who is later found not guilty or whose charges are dismissed is welcome to inform the Florence Reminder and it will be reported.

July 28

An inmate assaulting a corrections officer was reported on North Bowling Road. A report is being forwarded to the prosecuting attorney.

July 31

An officer stopped a car for allegedly running a red light. The passenger, Jerome Pablo, 38, was arrested and booked into jail for a warrant plus charges of possession of dangerous drugs, transport of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver was released with a verbal warning.

Aug. 1

Nikolas Reeder, 28, was arrested and booked into jail on a charge of disorderly conduct.
