April 13

An officer was dispatched to a disorderly conduct call on South Matilda Street. Kristopher M. Robles, 29, was cited on charges of threatening, disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

April 14

Police responded to an accident without injuries on Arizona Farms Road near Attaway Road. A driver stated he was traveling east on Arizona Farms Road when his vehicle was struck by a loose tire. The other driver, Daniel G. Hernandez, 29, was cited for knowingly operating an unsafe vehicle.

April 15

A traffic collision occurred after a semi tractor-trailer failed to yield to oncoming traffic after leaving a stop sign on North Attaway Road and East Arizona Farms Road. The other driver was treated by ambulance personnel and released at the scene, and his car was towed. The semi driver, Juan Y. Hernandez, 58, was cited for speed and failure to yield.

A 2000 Dodge pickup being operated by Kyle A. Trefethen, 23, rear-ended a 2011 Ford pickup, pushing it off the roadway to the right at Hunt Highway and Attaway Road. The Dodge then rear-ended a 2018 Chevrolet pickup. Trefethen was cited for failure to control speed to avoid a collision. Florence Fire EMS examined a male juvenile passenger in the Dodge, but the boy was not injured.

April 16

A driver stated she was rear- ended at North Pinal Parkway and East First Street and the other driver left the scene. Police were unable to locate the other vehicle.

April 19

An officer was dispatched to a report of an assault on a corrections officer by an inmate, resulting in the officer receiving stitches in his hand. A charging review packet will be forwarded to the appropriate charging attorney for determination of charges.
