Tuesday, Oct. 20

Jamison L. Owens, 29, was arrested and booked into jail on charges of reckless driving, aggressive driving, criminal speed, criminal speed in school zone, a one-way-street violation and a warrant.

An officer on patrol struck a parked car on Orlando Street. The owner was advised how to file a claim with the town and was provided an information exchange form.

Thursday, Oct. 22

Marc Daniels, 20, was arrested and booked into jail on charges of misconduct involving weapons, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to provide identity and speeding.

Saturday, Oct. 24

A hit-and-run was reported on North Pinal Parkway. The reporting party advised a truck struck the railroad crossing arm and kept driving. An attempt to located the vehicle was unsuccessful. The reporting party advised he had already called to have the arm repaired.

A scooter was reported stolen outside of Safeway.

A political sign was reported stolen from a yard on West Yorktown Way.

A North Pinal Street resident reported she has been having trouble with her neighbor and lights had been stolen. The reporting party believed the neighbor took them. Contact was made with the neighbor, who denied taking the lights. The reporting party insisted she wished to prosecute. A town charging review will be submitted to the town attorney for determination of charges.

Domestic violence was reported on South Pinal Parkway. The reporting party stated the other party had left the scene and broke out a window prior to leaving. The suspect was not located. A charging review packet will be forwarded to the appropriate prosecuting office for determination of charges.
