The following was taken from the records at the Eloy Police Department.

May 21

Fatimah Baltazar was arrested, cited and released for open alcohol container during a traffic stop for speed on I-10.

May 25

A man the victim of theft when unknown suspect(s) took several gold rings and necklaces from a jewelry box at the Motel 6 on Sunland Gin Road. The man advised he contracted hotel staff and they told him they recovered his jewelry box. Upon receiving the box only some of the jewelry was recovered and the rest is still outstanding.

May 26

Marcos Antonio Guadian was contacted after reports identified him as suspicious outside of a residence. A records check discovered that there were active warrants for his arrest, and he was subsequently taken into custody based on those warrants. He was transported to Pinal County Jail and booked on the valid warrants for this arrest.

May 28

Ramon Alfonso Garcia Jr. was arrested for exceeding 85 mph when he was observed traveling at a radar confirmed speed of 100 mph on I-10 just east of Sunland Gin Road. Garcia was issued a criminal traffic citation and released for the observed violation.

Rigoberto Tejada and Alexis Tejada were arrested on warrants during a traffic stop for speeding near Chui Chu Road and Hanna Road. The warrants were valid and confirmed, both men were transported to Pinal County Jail.

Francisco Inzunza was arrested for criminal trespass in the first degree after entering and remaining unlawfully inside the Villa De Sonora apartment complex. Inzunza had been trespassed from the apartment complex on multiple occasions by Eloy officers as well as apartment staff. He was subsequently transports and booked into Pinal County Jail.

May 30

Francisca Mary-Ashley Martinez was arrested after she was involved in a vehicle collision near the intersection of Chambers and Eleven Mile Corner Road for DUI, reckless driving, no proof of insurance and failure to control speed to avoid a collision. Martinez was subsequently released from custody.

May 31

A man was involved in a vehicle collision where he struck another vehicle from behind on Sunland Gin Road, north of Houser Road. He struck a 2013 Cadillac XTS with his 2002 Chevrolet Silverado when traffic stopped abruptly in front of him. A DUI investigation was conducted after he showed signs of impairment. The citation is pending the results of his blood.

A man and woman become the victims of threatening and intimidation, dog at large and unleashed K9 at Happy Inn Hotel. The incident occurred when they reported the hotel caretaker, Carlos Ruiz mentioned multiple times that he was going to allow his pitbull to attack their terrier puppy for barking too much. Post Miranda, Ruiz admitted to making the comments and the terrier was attacked on May 30. Ruiz was arrested, cited and released.

June 1

Victor Tellez was arrested for four valid Eloy City Court warrants. Tellez was reported as an unwanted subject at this stepfather’s residence. Officers served Tellez with an order of protection and he was later transported to Pinal County Jail.

A man became the victim of theft of mean of transportation when unknown suspect(s) removed his abandoned 2005 Nissan Titan from the area of Toltec Road and Phillips Road. The man left the vehicle in the area when it broke down. He was unable to provide possible suspects or leads.

A man became the victim of theft when a glock 19 pistol was stolen from his vehicle.

Heather Brady was arrested, issued a criminal summons during and investigations of fraudulent use of a credit card at the Bluestone Hotel. The victim advised she received an alert from her USAA Banking App of a $158.29 charge was debited form the hotel. Brady provided a statement and advised an unknown subject paid for the room and was not able to provide additional information to follow up and was issued a criminal summons.

June 5

A woman became the victim of theft when an unknown suspect stole her purse from her hotel room at Motel 6.

June 6

Kimberly Williams was cited and released for disorderly conduct after she got into a verbal altercation with her McDonald’s supervisor.
