Eloy Police Patch

The following was taken from the records at the Eloy Police Department.

Dec. 28

The Circle K on Frontier Street became the victim of shoplifting when an unknown suspect removed two 30 packs of Budweiser from the cooler and exited past the register without paying. The male suspect was observed getting into the passenger back seat of a gold colored, four door sedan which was last seen heading north on 11 Mile Corner Road.

Dec. 29

Jose Mejia was arrested for several valid warrants at Alsdorf Road.

Dec. 30

Two people were victims of theft at the Pilot Travel Center on Sunshine Boulevard The victims stated a person they were hitching a ride from left Pilot with their two bags containing miscellaneous tools and clothing.

Jan. 3

A woman became the victim of burglary, theft and criminal trespassing when unknown suspect(s) entered her residence and took over $10,000 in items including jewelry, shoes, backpack and clothes. There was no forced entry to the residence, at this time it is unclear where the point of entry or exit is but the rear door was unsecured when she returned.

Jan. 5

City Code Enforcement contacted the Police Department about illegal dumping in the area of Battaglia Road and La Palma Road.

Jan. 10

A man became the victim of a hit and run when an unknown vehicle collided with his 2004 Jeep Liberty outside of his residence and fled the scene. The case is inactive, pending new evidence.
