Arrests & Citations
On May 14 Joey Jamerson, 45, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Pinal County felony warrant while at 1100 N. 3rd St.
On May 19 Malcolm Hodges, 50, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Town of Florence warrant and a valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrant while walking outside the residence located at 1173 N. 4th St.
On May 15 Ruben Tristan, 39, was cited and released on charges of disorderly conduct (domestic violence) after police said he knocked the glasses off his son’s face during an argument that occurred at 236 E. Central Ave.
On May 16 Kristopher Posey, 20, was cited and released for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop that occurred near 335 W. Lincoln Ave.
On May 17 Ismael Valencia, 20, was arrested on charges of possession of narcotic drugs, possession of narcotic drugs for sale, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a weapon in a drug offense and failure to disclose possession of a deadly weapon when asked by law enforcement during a traffic stop that occurred at the intersection of North Attaway Road and East Vah Ki Inn Road. The stop initially occurred because Valencia was reportedly traveling at 60 miles per hour in a 35 zone. Police said he was found in possession of 20 grams of cocaine, an AR 15, an AR 15 magazine with 28 rounds, 56 grams of marijuana, a digital pocket scale, $1401 in cash and sandwich baggies.
On May 17 Dominque Goodman, 31, was arrested on charges of trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of dangerous drugs while at 395 N. 4th St. after police said she had been previously trespassed from the property earlier that night.
On May 17 James Jeffries, 35, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Town of Florence municipal court warrant while at 395 N. 4th St.
On May 11 Omar Mejia, 18, was arrested on charges of possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence following a traffic stop that took place at the intersection of South Kenworthy Road and West Martin Road. Police said he was found in possession of 41 Fentanyl M30 pills, a straw, a piece of tin foil with black residue and a half melted pill and a metal straw.
On May 10 Vanessa Reyes, 37, was arrested on charges of dangerous drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and for two valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrants while in the area of North 4th Street and West Byrd Avenue. Police said she was found in possession of tin foil and a partially burnt pill, a brown cigarillo with a liquid stain on the tip and a clear glass vial containing PCP.
On May 7 Jennifer Felix, 43, was arrested for a valid and confirmed felony probation warrant while at 460 W. Palo Verde Ave.
On May 8 Christopher Germain, 54, was cited and released for shoplifting and criminal trespassing after police said he attempted to take a pair of purple sunglasses and Fungi Nail Ointment from Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd., without paying for the items.
On April 25 Andre Long, 26, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, having an open alcohol container in a vehicle, possession of marijuana with intent to transport or sell, possession of a weapon in a drug offense and failure to disclose possession of a deadly weapon to law enforcement during a traffic stop that occurred near North Christensen Road and East Martin Road. Police said Long was in possession of 70.80 grams of marijuana, 5 packets of marijuana wax, a pocket scale, several glass smoking devices and plastic baggies among other items.
Theft, Burglary & Criminal Damage
On May 14 it was reported that a small cloth purse containing syringes, a clear plastic baggy of meth and marijuana was found at the construction site located at 350 W. Spruell Ave.
On May 12 it was reported that an unknown person driving a blue Chevy Silverado crashed into a Chevy Equinox that was parked outside the residence located at 540 W. Taylor Ave. and fled the scene. Police said the incident resulted in extensive damage to the Equinox’s front passenger side. Estimated loss $10,000.
On May 17 it was reported that sometime between April 26 and May 17 that an unknown person(s) took a Harrington Richardson shotgun from a mobile home that was parked near South Highway 87 and East Arica Road. Estimated loss $250.
On May 12 it was reported that a Black Google Pixel 3A XL phone was taken from shopping cart at Safeway, 1449 N. Arizona Blvd., after it was accidentally left behind. Estimated loss $600.
On May 6 it was reported that sometime between April 18 and April 25 an unknown person(s) stole a Ruger EC9 9 millimeter handgun from a 2017 white Nissan Titan pickup truck at an unknown location. The gun was last seen inside the vehicle while it was parked at 1206 N. Orland Drive. Estimated loss $200.
