The following was taken from the records at the Coolidge Police Department.

Arrests & Citations

On Jan. 16 Carlos Davila, 24, was cited and released on charges of operating a vehicle without a license following a traffic stop that occurred in the 400 block of West Spruell Avenue.

On Jan. 12 Michelle Lopez, 29, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrant following a traffic stop that occurred at the intersection of South Main Street and West Seagoe Avenue.

On Jan. 15 Terrance McKinney, 28, was arrested on charges of criminal trespassing, possession of a dangerous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia after police said he was found trespassing at 252 W. Byrd Ave.

On Jan. 12 Veronica Aguirre, 26, was arrested for four valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrants near the area of North Arizona Boulevard and West Pima Avenue.

On Jan. 10 Gabriel Gonzales, 30, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm and misconduct involving a firearm after police said he was confrontational with his ex-girlfriend as she was leaving the residence at 129 W. Roosevelt Ave. The situation escalated when he pulled a handgun and fired two rounds into the air.

On Jan. 13 Andy Aros Jr., 22, was arrested on charges of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia after police said they found 8 pounds and four ounces of marijuana in his vehicle and three and a half M-30 Fentanyl pills following a traffic stop that occurred near the intersection of South Kenworthy Road and West Wilson Avenue.

On Dec. 31 Marthine Ahmsaty, 21, was cited and released after she and another individual attempted to shoplift $172 worth of alcohol and cheese from Safeway, 1449 N. Arizona Blvd.

On Jan. 11 Alize Hendrix, 20, was arrested for three valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrants and on charges of possession of a dangerous drug after police said she was observed pulling a white plastic baggie from coat pocket and dropping in onto the roadway while out in the area of 600 W. Raymond Ave. The contents of bag were later confirmed to be methamphetamine.

On Jan. 2 Michael Clendenen, 36, was cited and released for driving under the influence of drugs after police said he was involved in a single vehicle collision near North Arizona Boulevard and West Vah Kin Inn Road. According to police the vehicle was found abandoned in front of the Moon Light Motel, 1087 N. Arizona Blvd., and Clendenen was later found nine blocks away from the scene of the accident.

On Jan. 10 Vanessa Reyes, 36, was arrested for two valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrants after police were dispatched to the area of 1000 Block of South Main Street.

On Jan. 4 Megan Withrow, 28, was arrested for three valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrants while in the area of South Arizona Boulevard and West Northern Avenue.

On Dec. 31 Anselm Galaz, 30, was cited and release for driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop near State Route 87 and Macrae Road.

On Dec. 30 Jordan Mitchell, 27, was arrested on charges of false reporting to law enforcement after police said he lied about his identity to police during a traffic stop that took place in the NAPA Auto Parts parking lot, 1011 N. Arizona Blvd.

On Dec. 30 Vanica-Roshe Cross, 18, was cited and released for underage driving under the influence, driving without a drivers license and driving without headlights following a traffic stop that took place in the NAPA Auto Parts parking lot, 1011 N. Arizona Blvd.

Theft, Burglary & Criminal Damage

On Jan. 2 it was reported that an unknown person(s) committed criminal damage while living at the residence located at 496 N. Main Street. Estimated loss $25,069.

On Jan. 9 it was reported that sometime between Jan. 5 and Jan. 9 an unknown person(s) committed theft when they cut several black cords of copper wire from a power box located near a San Carlos Irrigation District well. Estimated loss $2,800.

On Jan. 5 it was reported that an unknown man shoplifted when he switch out the price tags for a pair of of work boots with a pair of athletic shoes while at Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $27.

On Jan. 13 it was reported that sometime between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. an unknown person hit a truck that was parked in the Coolidge High School parking lot, 684 W. Northern Ave., and fled the scene without leaving any insurance or contact information.

On Jan. 9 it was reported that an unknown person removed the bedroom window of the residence located at 544 W. Palo Verde Ave. by prying it open.

On Jan. 3 it was reported that a U-haul trailer that was reported stolen out of Washington was recovered in the alley just west of 590 W. Taylor Ave.

On Jan. 12 it was reported that an unknown person(s) damaged the windshield of a 1997 Dodge Caravan that was parked outside the Family Dollar, 555 N. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $500.

On Jan. 12 it was reported that a plastic bag containing marijuana was located in the roadway of West Palo Verde and South Picacho St.

On Jan. 10 it was reported that an unknown man and an unknown woman shoplifted a 30 pack of Budweiser beer and three cans of Fourloko from Circle K, 495 S. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $37.78.

On Jan. 1 it was reported that a rusted 12 gauge shotgun was found outside the residence located at 731 W. Pima Ave.

On Jan. 1 it was reported that an unknown man shoplifted two 18 packs of Bud Light from Circle K, 495 S. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $39.65.
