Arrests & Citations
On Feb. 7 Scarpion Smith, 47, was arrested of a valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrant and a valid and confirmed Casa Grande city warrant following a traffic stop that took place in the area of North Main Street and West Byrd Avenue.
On Feb. 2 Esteban Sauceda, 28, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrant and on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia while in the area of West Harding Avenue and South Arizona Boulevard.
On Feb. 2 Monica Madrid, 25, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrant and on charges of Dangerous Drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia while in the area of West Harding Avenue and South Arizona Boulevard.
On Feb. 5 Taylor Slaughter, 25, was cited and released on charges of shoplifting after police said she took a Trend Fragrance 3 Wick Candle, a Glade Candle and Two packets of Tide Simple Laundry Soap from the Dollar General 555 N. Arizona Blvd. The candles were later recovered and returned to the store. Estimated loss $2.
On Jan. 31 Joe Ortiz Jr., 51, was arrested for three valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrants while at Domino’s Pizza, 1417 N. Arizona Blvd.
On Jan. 30 Cindy Lacy, 42, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Pinal County Superior Court warrant following a traffic stop that occurred near West Shannons Way and North Country Village Lane.
On Jan. 19 Joshua Collins, 32, was arrested on charges of assault after police said he reportedly held his wife down in a chair, threatened to kill her and slapped her. The incident took place at the residence located at 1173 N. 4th St.
On Jan. 24 Alex Gurulee, 54, was cited and released for shoplifting after police said he attempted to take ear buds, a Zeiss pro lens and a bottle of Mountain Dew soda from Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd. without paying for the items. Estimated loss $9.93.
On Jan. 26 Sammy Moore, 57, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Maricopa County Superior Court Warrant and on charges of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of narcotics transportation and possession of drug paraphernalia after police located 14 grams of cocaine in his vehicle during a traffic stop that occurred near West Palo Verde Avenue and South Main Street. Police also found $446 in cash on his person.
On Jan. 1 Clarissa Coleman, 27, was arrested on charges of possession of Marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and forgery after police said she used a counterfeit $20 bill to pay for food at McDonalds, 900 N. Arizona Blvd.
On Jan. 5 Cruz Gonzales, 39, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and for a valid and confirmed town of Florence warrant following a traffic stop that occurred near 719 S. Picacho St.
On Jan. 3 Malik Allen, 22, was arrested on charges of assault, unlawful imprisonment and criminal damage after police said he would not allow his girlfriend to leave, pushed her and struck her on the head and broke her cell phone along with a table, microwave, lamp and a towel rack. This incident took place at the Grande Vista Motel, 1211 N. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $1,600.
Theft, Burglary & Criminal Damage
On Feb. 6 it was reported that an unknown woman shoplifted a LED String Light set, Glitter Glue, a Painters Marker, Two 27 inch Bicycle Tubes, Folk Art Paint, a Painters 5-pack, 16 Troils pencils, 32 count Hot Wheels, 32 Extreme Valentines, 16 Frozen II Valentines and four Folk Art detail brushes from Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Boulevard. Estimated loss $61.83.
On Feb. 5 it was reported that an unknown person(s) stole a 2008 Viking travel trailer from a farm field located a half mile east of Signal Peak and Bechtel Roads. Estimated loss $20,000.
On Feb. 6 it was reported that sometime between Jan. 28 and Feb. 6 that an unknown person(s) damaged a well pump located near the intersection of North Christensen Road and East Vah Ki Inn Road and stole copper wire from it. Estimated loss $2,500.
On Feb. 5 it was reported that sometime between Feb. 4 and the following day an unknown person(s) stole copper wire from a well pump located in the area of West Vah Ki Inn Road and North Macrae Road. Estimated loss $5,000.
On Feb. 5 it was reported that an unknown person(s) committed criminal damage to a white 2004 Volvo that was parked in front of the residence located at 362 E. Boree Ave.
On Jan. 13 it was reported that sometime between Jan. 8 and Jan. 10 an unknown person(s) stole a 32 inch flat screen T.V. from the residence located at 238 W. Lindbergh Ave. Estimated loss $80.
