The following was taken from the records at the Coolidge Police Department.

Arrests & Citations

On Feb. 26 Jesus Ortiz, 24, was arrested for three valid and confirmed Coolidge City warrants and on charges of resisting arrest, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop that occurred at the intersection of West Bealey Avenue and North 3rd Street. Police said he allegedly ran from the officer that attempted to arrest him.

On Feb. 20 Andrew Osife, 40, was taken into custody at the Gila River Detention Center, 669 W. Seed Farm Rd., for a valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrant.

On Feb. 25 Joseph Miller, 26, was arrested for two valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrants and a valid and confirmed Apache Junction warrant following a traffic stop that took place near the intersection of South Main Street and West Coolidge Avenue.

On Feb. 25 Gabriel Moreno, 26, was taken into custody at the Gila River Detention Center, 669 W. Seed Farm Rd., for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrant.

On Feb. 22 Veronica Aguirre, 26, was arrested for a valid and confirmed city of Eloy warrant while in the area of 400 West Harding Avenue.

On Feb. 21 Michael Rodriguez, 25, was arrested for a valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrant while in the area of 1086 N. Arizona Blvd.

On Feb. 17 Robert Williams, 27, was arrested for a valid and confirmed city of Eloy warrant and for driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop that occurred at the intersection of West Hess Avenue and North Arizona Boulevard.

On Feb. 9 Isaac Viola, 36, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct after police said he was continually belligerent, screamed, yelled and swung at officers following a verbal argument that took place at 515 E. Lincoln Ave.

On Feb. 25 Tenishia White, 44, was arrested on charges of dangerous drug and drug paraphernalia possession during a traffic stop that took place near the intersection of South Main Street and West Lincoln Avenue after police said she was found in possession of fentanyl.

On Feb. 24 Jody Gerkin, 40, was arrested on charges of possession of a dangerous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop that took place outside the Dollar General, 1797 S. Arizona Blvd., after police said she was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

On Feb. 27 Derrick Roberts, 27, was cited and released on charges of domestic violence disorderly conduct and assault. Police said he reportedly went to the residence located at 2168 W. Broadway Avenue without an officer present after he had requested a civil standby, resulting in disturbance, and allegedly pulled grabbed his wife by her hair.

On Feb. 27 Jaivon Rutledge, 20, was arrested on charges of domestic violence aggravated assault and unlawful imprisonment after he turned himself into police at a residence located at 623 N. Main St.

On Feb. 22 Anthony Acosta Jr., 20, was arrested on charges of dangerous drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop that occurred at the intersection of South Arizona Boulevard and West Coolidge Avenue. He was also cited for having an open alcohol container in a vehicle and underage drinking.

On Feb. 22 Daniel Pratt, 33, was arrested for a valid and confirmed town of Florence warrant following a traffic stop that occurred at the intersection of South Arizona Boulevard and West Coolidge Avenue. He was also cited for having an open alcohol container in a vehicle

On Feb. 22 Sarah Salaets, 24, was cited and released for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop that occurred at the intersection of South Arizona Boulevard and West Coolidge Avenue.

On Feb. 23 Clinton Slaughter Sr., 46, was arrested three valid and confirmed Coolidge city court warrants, a Central Pinal Justice Court warrant and for driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop that took place near the intersection of North 6th Street and West Northern Avenue. He was also cited for having no mandatory insurance and for having no child restraint systems for two children under the age of five that were with him in the vehicle.

On Feb. 21 Francisco Ramirez, 21, was arrested for a valid and confirmed city of Eloy warrant while at the intersection of South Kenworthy Road and West Coolidge Avenue.

On Feb. 16 David Hutchinson, 35, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Gila River Indian Community warrant while at the intersection of North 4th Street and North Palm Lane.

On Feb. 15 Charles Ramaila-Rodriguez, 38, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Pioneer Justice court warrant and for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrant while at Discovery Market, 295 S. Arizona Blvd.

On Feb. 15 Crystal Rodriguez, 34, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Pioneer Justice Court warrant, a valid and confirmed Coolidge city court warrant and on charges of taking the identify of another and false reporting to law enforcement after police said she lied about her identity to officers while at Discovery Market, 295 S. Arizona Blvd.

On Feb. 15 Jashuan Street, 23, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to transport/sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and possession of a firearm in a drug offense following a traffic stop that occurred near the residence at 1203 N. Orlando Drive.

On Feb. 14 Dominique Fields, 24, was arrested for a valid and confirmed warrant while at 904 N. California St.

Theft, Burglary & Criminal Damage

On Feb. 18 it was reported that an unknown person stole a Straight Talk Samsung Galaxy J2 cell phone that had been left at a cash register at Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $114.

On Feb. 17 it was reported that sometime between Feb. 15 and the 17th an unknown person(s) took $100 from a cash box located at Cute and Classy Dog Grooming, 453 W. Coolidge Ave.

On Feb. 24 it was reported that an unknown person(s) stole about 20 feet of copper wire from a San Carlos Irrigation Project well. Estimated loss $1,500.

On Feb. 23 it was reported an unknown man shoplifted $1,000 worth of food items from the Speedway Gas Station, 780 N. Arizona Blvd.
