The following was taken from the records at the Coolidge Police Department.

Arrests & Citations

On Jan. 23 Rosalinda Ybarra, 37, was arrested for two valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrants after she was contacted by police in the area of Central Avenue and Pacific Street.

On Jan. 21 Samantha Rae, 24, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrant while in the area of West Northern Avenue and North 6th Street.

On Jan. 22 Anthony Acosta Jr., 20, was cited and released for possession of Marijuana while in the 500 block of West Taylor Avenue.

On Jan. 22 Mike Smith, 60, was cited and released on charges of assault following an incident outside the residence at 1332 W. Roosevelt Avenue where he allegedly punched another individual in the face approximately four to six times.

On Jan. 16 Charles Lopez Jr., 25, was cited and released for shoplifting a 14 pack of Budweiser beer case from Circle K, 495 S. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $15.41.

On Jan. 21 Ruben Tristan, 38, was arrested for a valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrant and a valid and confirmed town of Florence warrant while in the front yard of the residence located at 236 E. Central Ave.

On Jan. 21 Deyone Duncan, 47, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city court warrant while in the area of the Grande Vista Motel, 1211 N. Arizona Blvd.

On Jan. 20 Larry Hall Jr., 51, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Pinal County Sheriff’s Office warrant while in the area of Kleck Road and the Rail Road tracks.

On Jan. 19 Terry Hayden, 59, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrant and a valid and confirmed town of Florence warrant after police said he was found dumpster diving behind Circle K, 1541 N. Arizona Blvd.

On Jan. 17 Simon Williams, 37, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Arizona Department of Corrections warrant while riding his bicycle in the area of the train tracks and Central Avenue after police said he was riding without a headlight. He was charged with possession of a dangerous drug (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Jan. 17 Jermone Jeffries Jr., 34, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrant after police said he got into an argument with his mother while at the residence located at 1221 W. Central Ave. and refused to leave.

On Jan. 17 Jeffrey Harris, 28, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct (domestic violence) after an officer witnessed him throw a styrofoam cup of soda at a woman he was walking with in the area of West Coolidge Avenue and 3rd Street. Police said Harris also waved his arms as though he was trying to hit the victim during the incident.

On Jan. 16 Frank Chubick, 50, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrant while he was riding his bicycle in the area of North 3rd Street and West Pima Avenue.

Theft, Burglary & Criminal Damage

On Jan. 20 it was reported that an unknown man shoplifted a Stickman Welder LX from Tractor Supply, 950 N. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $549.99.

On Jan. 17 it was reported that an unknown person(s) stole all of the copper wire out of two well pumps located on the farm fields near the intersection of North Wheeler Road and East Kleck Road. Estimated loss $10,000.

On Jan. 22 it was reported that sometime between 3 p.m. the previous day and 8:46 a.m. on the 22nd an unknown person(s) stole copper wire that had already been installed in a new home build at 915 W. Starview Avenue. Estimated loss $1,000.
