Arrests & Citations

  • On June 5 Juan Valdez Sr., 59, was arrested for a valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrant while at Circle K, 495 S. Arizona Blvd.
  • On May 29 Brian Favela-Carrillo, 21, was cited and released for speeding and driving without a valid driver’s license during a traffic stop that occurred near the intersection of Signal Peak and Val Vista Roads.
  • On May 27 Prince St. Clair Moody, 42, was cited and released for assault after police said he got into a physical altercation with another resident in the area of 1007 S. Main St.
  • On May 27 Gerald Vaughn, 54, was cited and released for assault after police said he got into a physical altercation with another resident in the area of 1007 S. Main St.
  • On May 26 Patrick Barrows, 37, was cited and released for driving with a revoked license during a traffic stop that took place at 1050 N. 9th St.
  • On May 26 Tyler Norton, 37, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city court warrant and a valid and confirmed Apache Junction warrant during a traffic stop that occurred at Circle K, 495 S. Arizona Blvd.
  • On May 28 Socorro Rosas, 29, was arrested for two valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrants while at 432 W. Roosevelt Ave.
  • On May 29 Terry Hayden, 58, was arrested for a valid and confirmed town of Florence warrant during a traffic stop that occurred in the 1100 block of Arizona Blvd.
  • On June 1 Nicholas Kinne, 22, was arrested on charges of assault after police said that he reportedly hit, grabbed and chocked his girlfriend during an incident that occurred at 2126 W. Central Ave.
  • On May 27 Andrea Starts, 44, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Pinal County Superior Court warrant, a valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrant and on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of a dangerous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop that occurred near the intersection of S. Main Street and W. Coolidge Avenue.
  • On May 19 Rontier Mathis, 20, was arrested on charges of criminal damage and disorderly conduct after police said he reportedly kicked a vehicle that was parked outside the residence located at 392 W. Dirklay Ave., causing a dent to the rear passenger side panel and damaging the radiator. Estimated loss $500.
  • On May 23 Derrick Watson, 32, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence during a traffic stop that occurred near West Highway 287 and North Christensen Road.
  • On May 31 Tyler Bittier-Brown, 19, turned himself in for a valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrant at the Coolidge Police Department, 911 S. Arizona Blvd.
  • On May 31 Nish Lane, 22, was taken into custody for a valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrant at the Gila River Detention Center, 693 W. Seed Farm Road.
  • On June 1 Ruth Morago, 33, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Coolidge municipal court warrant and later cited and released for possession of marijuana and having an open container in a vehicle.
  • On June 5 Tesia Brafford, 28, was arrested on charges of assault and criminal damage after police said she reportedly threw an Xbox video game controller belonging to another resident while at 623 N. Main St. off the balcony, causing it to strike the windshield of a vehicle parked below, and struck the same individual in the face. Estimated loss $200.
  • On June 3 Tony Viola III was cited and released for criminal damage after police said he reportedly threw his girlfriend’s iPhone 6 out the window of his vehicle while traveling in the area of North 4th Street and Orlando St during an argument. Estimated loss $600.
  • On June 1 Ramon Lopez Jr., 26, was arrested for 4 valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrants and a valid and confirmed Arizona Department of Corrections parole violation warrant while in the area of East Central Avenue and South Pacific Street.
  • On June 3 Elizabeth Wagner, 40, was cited and released for shoplifting a Bait Cast Fishing Pole B lighter from Circle K, 1541 N. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $9.99.

Theft, Burglary & Criminal Damage

  • On June 5 it was reported that a stolen Dodge truck was recovered parked in the 800 block of West Vah Ki Inn Road.
  • On May 30 it was reported that an unknown person spray painted a white swastika on the exterior wall of a residence located at 810 W. Hess Ave.
  • On May 28 it was reported that an unknown person(s) unlawfully entered the residence located at 140 W. Pinkley Ave. and stole a black HP 255 15-inch Laptop. Estimated loss $140.
  • On May 27 it was reported that an unknown woman shoplifted two bottles of champagne and a bottle of Jagermeister from Safeway, 1449 N Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $46.03.
  • On May 26 it was reported that an unknown person fired 5 to 6 gun shots in the area of Northern Avenue and 9th Street, striking a passing vehicle on the driver side panel, driver side door frame and rear driver side window. Estimated loss $600.
  • On June 1 it was reported that an unknown person(s) stole a Samsung J3 cell phone from a 2003 Chevy Silverado that was parked outside of Pizza Hut, 109 N. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $100.
  • On May 30 it was reported that an unknown man stabbed a resident of the Hohokam Mobile Village, 1925 S. Arizona Blvd., in the stomach while he was taking out the trash.
  • On May 31 it was reported that sometime between 6 a.m. and 9:08 a.m. an Echo weed eater was stolen from the bed of a truck parked in the alleyway of the residence located at 573 W. Coolidge Ave. Estimated loss $300.
