Arrests & Citations

On Jan. 29 Antonio Martinez Jr., 39, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrant following a verbal argument that occurred at 653 W. Northern Avenue.

On Jan. 22 Julis Gant, 21, was arrested for three valid and confirmed city of Eloy warrants after police said he attempted to pick up medication from the Safeway Pharmacy, 1449 N. Arizona Blvd., using a fraudulently written prescription.

On Jan. 28 Jesus Vasquez Jr., 25, was taken into custody for a valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrant and a valid and confirmed Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office felony warrant at the Gila River Detention Center, 669 W. Seed Farm Rd.

On Jan. 27 Cherokee Thompson, 18, was arrested on charges of interruption of an educational institution, disorderly conduct, criminal trespassing and resisting arrest when he refused to leave the Coolidge Alternative Program campus, 800 N. 9th St. after he was asked to several times.

On Jan. 27 Tyrrell Greymountain, 25, was cited and released for failure to remain at the scene of an accident after police said he rear ended another vehicle that was stopped at the intersection of Eleven Mile Corner Road and Randolph Road and then fled the scene.

On Jan. 28 Monica Madrid, 25, was arrested on charges of organized retail theft, trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia after police said she attempted to return items to Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd., that had been shoplifted earlier that morning. Estimated loss $18.52.

On Jan. 28 Esteban Sauceda, 28, was arrested on charges of organized retail theft and trespassing he attempted to return items to Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd., that had been shoplifted earlier that morning. Estimated loss $18.52.

On Jan. 23 Cindy Lacy, 42, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Pinal County Superior Court warrant and for a valid and confirmed Casa Grande court warrant while at the Speedway Gas station, 780 N. Arizona Blvd.

On Jan. 23 Gerald Archer, 61, was arrested for two valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrants while at 530 W. Kachina Circle.

On Jan. 13 Gabriel Fulwilder, 25, was taken into custody for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrant at the Gila River Detention Facility, 669 W. Seed Farm Rd.

On Jan. 13 Cyndell Jackson, 33, was taken into custody for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrant at the Gila River Detention Facility, 669 W. Seed Farm Rd.

On Jan. 13 Delbert Johnson, 31, was taken into custody for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrant at the Gila River Detention Facility, 669 W. Seed Farm Rd.

On Jan. 4 Brandon Felix Sr., 35, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrant, a Pinal County Sheriff’s Office warrant and a Maricopa County Superior Court warrant following a traffic stop that took place near the 300 block of West Wilson Avenue.

Theft, Burglary & Criminal Damage

On Jan. 25 it was reported that sometime between the previous evening at that afternoon an unknown person(s) stole a Black & Decker cordless string trimmer, a Remington electric 24-inch chainsaw and a large pair of loppers with green handles from the back patio of the residence located at 1108 N. 4th St. Estimated loss $212.

On Jan. 18 it was reported that an unknown woman shoplifted a bag of sunflower seeds from Circle K, 495 S. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $1.02.

On Jan. 18 it was reported that an unknown person(s) committed burglary when they entered the residence at 231 W. Byrd Ave and stole a T.V. and a specialized Allez Racing Bike. Estimated loss $6,100.

On Jan. 26 it was reported that on Jan. 19 an unknown man shoplifted three bags of Chile Tepin dye from Shope’s Market, 1940 S. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $15.

On Jan. 26 it was reported that two unknown men shoplifted packaged shirts, a small travel kit, a 180 piece mechanics set, two heart shaped boxes of chocolate and a large Tupperware container from Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $234.

On Jan. 28 it was reported that an unknown person(s) attempted to steal copper from a pump station located at 15 W. Martin Rd., but did not manage to obtain any copper. The suspect cut the cable from two areas and a fuse was blown during the process causing the pump to lose power. Estimated loss $6,000.

On Jan. 4 it was reported that an unknown person(s) shot a BB through the upstairs bedroom window of the residence located at 1501 S. Navajo Lane. Estimated loss $200.

On Jan. 24 it was reported that an unknown person(s) stole copper wire from a pump station located in the 4500 block of West Bechtel Road. Estimated loss $5000.
