The following was taken from the records at the Coolidge Police Department.

Arrests & Citations

On Aug. 21 Stormy Schaar, 24, was cited and released for disorderly conduct after police said she interfered in a custody matter when she attempted take her nephew from his father to enforce an order of protection and attempted to pull the child off the field during a youth football practice at Kenilworth Sports Complex, 671 E. Coolidge Ave.

On Aug. 18 Valente Barcenas Jimenez, 35, was arrested on charges driving under the influence following a traffic stop that occurred near the intersection of South 9th Street and West Dewey Avenue.

On Aug. 19 Cintya Villarreal, 25, was arrested for a valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrant while at 1056 N. Kevins Pl. She was also cited for shoplifting a multi-pack of rings, imPress nails set, a necklace and Loreal mascara from Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd., on Aug. 18 after police said she concealed the items in her purse. Estimated loss $31.63.

On Aug. 18 Timothy Newell, 28, was arrested for three valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrants while walking near the Grande Vista Motel, 1211 N. Arizona Blvd.

On Aug. 13 Adam Victorino, 31, was arrested for a valid and confirmed JP 6 warrant and a valid and confirmed JP 3 warrant after he reportedly fled from police during a search of his bicycle that occurred in the 500 block of West Taylor Avenue.

On Aug. 17 Mitchell Rowe, 34, was arrested on charges of criminal damage, disorderly conduct and theft after police said he damaged $500 worth of lighting fixtures and stole parts of the fixtures from the residence located at 594 W. Vah Ki Inn Road.

On Aug. 16 Ricardo Acuna, 31, was arrested for two valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrants while at the residence located at 300 W. Harding Avenue.

On Aug. 20 David McDaniels, 37, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrant and on charges of possession of a dangerous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop that occurred at West Kennedy Avenue and North Arizona Boulevard.

On Aug. 18 Jorge Grajeda, 41, was arrested on charges of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended drivers license, displaying a fictions tab on his vehicle’s license plate and a valid and confirmed warrant during a traffic stop that occurred along Interstate 10 at milepost 207.

Theft, Burglary & Criminal Damage

On Aug. 22 it was reported that two unknown persons assaulted a student at Coolidge High School, 684 W. Northern Avenue.

On Aug. 17 it was reported that on Aug. 13 between the hours of 2:45 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. an unknown person(s) entered a delivery van parked in front of the Mediterra Bakehouse, 226 S. Main St. and stole two packs of L&M 100 Cigarettes, a disposable cigarette lighter and a light blue lunch box cooler. Estimated loss $27.

On Aug. 16 it was reported that sometime between Aug. 9 and Aug. 16 an unknown person(s) committed burglary and criminal damage at the business located at 212 W. Central Ave. by breaking into the locked shed and stealing a multiple hand and power tools as well as a red and white 1983 Montessa 2 stroke 242 Trials motorcycle. Estimated loss $2400.

On Aug. 8 it was reported that an unknown man shoplifted a bottle of Jose Cuervo and a bottle of Fireball Pet from Safeway, 1449 N. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $78.96.

On Aug. 17 it was reported that two unknown men slashed the tires of a Chevy Avalanche that was parked outside of the residence located at 607 W. Kenworthy Ave. Estimated loss $200.

On Aug. 16 it was reported that three unknown women shoplifted two pairs of jeggings, a plaid shirt, two ribbed camisoles and four large bottles of Caliber Vodka from Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $86.

On Aug. 16 it was reported that sometime between 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 15 an unknown person(s) attempted to steal a White GMC truck that was parked outside of the residence located at 951 W. Elizabeth Way.
