Arrests & Citations

  • On May 15 Jasmine Guel, 19, was cited and released for shoplifting incidents that occurred between May 2 and May 5 after police said she shoplifted makeup, eye drops, hair spray, a shampoo and conditioner set, two sodas, Popcorn Chicken, Deli Chicken and soft candy from Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $37.11.
  • On May 13 Blanca Mora, 32, was arrested on charges of theft of means of transportation after police said she stole a vehicle that was left running out in front of Jim’s Automotive, 460 W. Lincoln Ave.
  • On May 15 Mirtha Chaparro, 41, was cited for driving without a license during a traffic stop that occurred at the Indian Skies RV Resort 1050 S. Arizona Blvd.
  • On May 14 Eulalio Molina, 43, was arrested for a valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrant during a traffic stop that occurred at the intersection of North Northern Avenue and West Vah Ki Inn Road.
  • On May 13 Jerome Jeffries Jr., 33, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city court warrant during a traffic stop that occurred near 9th Street and Coolidge Avenue.
  • On May 9 Jonathan Hitchcock, 47, was arrested on two counts of assault, criminal damage, preventing the use of a telephone in an emergency situation and interfering with governmental operations after police said he broke the television located within the residence, assaulted the other residents and took a resident’s phone away from her when she attempted to call 911. This incident took place at 1445 W. Central Ave. Police also said that he became verbally combative during the booking process and continued to press the alarm button inside the cell while at the Coolidge Police Department, 911 S. Arizona Blvd.
  • On May 7 Rydel Mayfield, 40, was arrested for four valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrants after police were called to 431 W. Lincoln Ave. for a disturbance.
  • On May 7 Christopher Adams, 54, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Central Pinal Justice court warrant while at 332 E. Dirklay Ave.
  • On May 11 William Taylor, 46, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Casa Grand Justice court warrant while outside of the Grande Vista Motel, 1211 N. Arizona Blvd.
  • On May 12 Shea Clendenen, 33, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city court warrant during a traffic stop that occurred at West Coolidge Avenue and North Carter Court.
  • On May 12 Travis Armstrong, 41, was cited and released for driving under the influence during a traffic stop that occurred at West Coolidge Avenue and North Carter Court.
  • On April 30 David Jackson, 26, was arrested for two valid and confirmed JP #1 warrants while at the Coolidge Police Department, 911 S. Arizona Blvd.

Theft, Burglary & Criminal Damage

  • On May 16 it was reported that an unknown person(s) committed criminal damage by making two long scratches on a vehicle parked outside of 1229 W. Central Ave. Estimated loss $500.
  • On May 10 it was reported that 12 different types of prescription medication were stolen from an unlocked car that was parked in the driveway of the residence located at 1228 N. Mesquite Lane.
  • On May 8 it was reported that a Red 1999 Dodge Dakota pickup, which also had a Glock 19 pistol in a brown leather Maxxcarry holster inside it, was stolen from the driveway of 286 S. 18th St. Estimated loss $4,090.
  • On May 12 it was reported that an unknown man shoplifted a box of Stanley brand name tools and another box of BC Mech tools from Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $126.
  • On May 13 it was reported that an unknown person entered a vehicle that was parked outside of the residence located at 447 W. Vah Ki Inn Road and stole a set of work keys and approximately $200 in cash. Estimated loss $300.
  • On May 8 it was reported that two unknown person(s) stole two unsecured bicycles from the bike rack at Imagine Elementary School, 1290 W. Vah Ki Inn Road. Estimated loss $140.
  • On May 11 it was reported that an unknown person(s) committed criminal damage by breaking one of the light fixtures attached to the garage of the residence located at 560 N. 9th St. Estimated loss $60.
  • On May 11 it was reported that two unknown men shoplifted three 12 packs of beer and a pair of sunglasses from Circle K, 1541 N. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $45.
  • On May 5 it was reported that an unknown person(s) forced entry into the residence located at 4490 S. La Palma Rd. by possibly prying the door open and damaging the door knob. No items were reported taken. Estimated loss $200.
