The following was taken from the records at the Coolidge Police Department.

Arrests & Citations

On Aug. 2 Debra Einhorn, 66, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of drugs during a traffic stop that occurred at South Arizona Boulevard and West Wilson Avenue.

On Aug. 25 David Hunt, 45, was cited and released for disorderly conduct following a fight that occurred in front of Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd.

On Aug. 25, David Hunt, 45, was arrested on charges of shoplifting after police said he attempted to return previously stolen merchandise and new items from within the store on Aug. 21 while at Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd. He was also arrested on charges of shoplifting an Otterbox phone case, two bottles of Milo Sweet tea and a window phone mount on Aug. 25 from the same store. Estimated loss $52.81.

On Aug. 27 Clinton Slaughter Jr., 23, was cited and released for failure to stop at a stop sign, driving on a suspended license and no mandatory insurance during a traffic stop that happened at the intersection of South 9th Street and West Wilson Ave.

On Aug. 29 Sean Sego, 25, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence following a traffic stop that occurred at West Martin Road and North Macrae Road.

On Aug. 29 Norma Valdez, 32, was arrested for a valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrant after police said she turned herself in while at the Coolidge Municipal Court, 110 W. Central Ave.

On Aug. 30 Freddie Garza Jr., 22, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence following a traffic stop that occurred in the 100 block of West Lincoln Avenue.

On Aug. 30 Jacob Garza, 21, was cited and released for criminal damage and trespassing after police said he kicked in the side door of the residence located at 523 W. Lincoln Ave. Estimated loss $200.

On Aug. 30 Christopher Schaar, 46, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Fugitive of Justice warrant out of Fremont County, Colorado while in the area of 419 W. Central Ave.

Theft, Burglary & Criminal Damage

On Aug. 21 it was reported that an unknown man shoplifted a bag of Tide Pods from the Family Dollar, 555 N. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $13.22.

On Aug. 19 it was reported that sometime on July 11 an unknown person(s) stole a Purple Youth Canada Goose Chilliwack Bomber Jacket delivered from eBay to the residence located at 2210 W. Pima Ave. Estimated loss $150.

On Aug.30 it was reported that an unknown person stole a maroon medical walker that was left on the front porch of the residence located at 1100 N. 3rd St. Estimated loss $400.

On Aug. 29 it was reported that an unknown person wrote graffiti with blue spray paint on the East facing block wall of the residence at 808 W. Wilson Ave.
