The following was taken from the records at the Coolidge Police Department.

Arrests & Citations

On March 7 Malcolm Smith Jr., 22, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of narcotics and failure to obey a lawful command after police said he fled from a traffic stop that took place near 623 N. Main St.

On March 6 Zacariah Birnell, 27, was arrested for a valid and confirmed town of Florence warrant and a valid and confirmed Gila County Superior Court warrant during a traffic stop that took place in the 800 block of West Martin Road.

On March 6 Emmanuel De La Rosa, 20, was cited and released on charges of driving under the influence following a traffic stop that took place in the 800 block of West Martin Road.

On March 2 Sal Vasquez, 31, was arrested for two valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrants while at 310 W. Pima Ave.

On Feb. 28 Isaias Morendo, 19, was cited and released on charges of driving under the influence, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence with a passenger under the age of 15 in the vehicle following a traffic stop that took place near the intersection of West Northern Avenue and North Arizona Boulevard.

On Feb. 28 Cole Plumley, 20, was cited on charges of driving under the influence, reckless driving, possessing an open container of alcohol in a vehicle, underage drinking and arrested for a valid and confirmed Pioneer Justice Court warrant during a traffic stop that occurred in the parking lot of Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd.

Theft, Burglary & Criminal Damage

On Feb. 20 it was reported that an unknown man threw a rock at the windshield of a vehicle traveling in the area of Bartlett and Nafziger Roads, shattering the windshield. Estimated loss $200.

On Feb. 22 it was reported that an unknown person(s) fired a bullet through a bedroom window of the residence located at 2010 S. 8th St., creating a hole in one of the bedroom walls. No injuries were reported. Estimated loss $700.
