Arrests and citations
Police on Sept. 18 in the 300 block of West Roosevelt Avenue arrested Erik Rodrigo Acedo, 28, on an allegation of driving under the influence. After police obtained a blood draw from him he was turned over to the care of his girlfriend.
Police on Aug. 27 responded to a shoplifting allegation in the 1600 block of North Arizona Boulevard and issued a summons to Raquel Crouse, 34, on an alleged charge of shoplifting. Crouse was later arrested Sept. 23.
Police on Sept. 6 in the 1700 block of South Arizona Boulevard at the General Dollar Store responded to an allegation of a man shoplifting at the store.
Police on Sept. 25 at North Arizona Boulevard and Highway 87 arrested Geary Power on a pre adjudication warrant after he had been panhandling in the area.
Police on Sept. 28 in the 400 block of West Harding Avenue arrested Al Black on a warrant after responding to an intoxicated man causing a disturbance.
Police on Sept. 22 in the 100 block of South First Street arrested Jymie Viola , 31, on an allegation of narcotic possession and drug paraphernalia after he was stopped for not stopping his bicycle at a stop sign. The case is pending on the testing of the substances.
Police on Sept. 24 in the 700 block of North Arizona Boulevard responded to an alleged criminal damage where a man reported his ex-girlfriend slashed a tire and threw eggs against the wall of this residence.Victim rights were issued on the scene and a summons for Ebonique Thurman, 21, will be sent to her Coolidge address.
Incidents and reports
Police on Sept. 24 in the 700 block of Gibson Ave responded to a call on an allegation of a firearm theft from a vehicle. The firearm is valued at $300 and its case has a cost of $10. There are no suspects.
