The following was taken from the records of the Coolidge Police Department.

Arrests and citations

Police on Sept. 30 responded to the Family Dollar Store located in the 500 block of North Arizona Boulevard for a criminal Damage. Surveillance video allegedly shows a 17-year-old juvenile using a hammer to damage three window panels of the business, causing $2,400 in damage. A juvenile referral has been issued against the boy.

Police on Sept. 28 responded to an alleged harassment charge after it was reported a former worker, Marcos Bojorquezwho had been fired. Bojorquez allegedly sent text messages to a man. Bojorquez was issued a citation for harassment.

Police on Oct. 5 arrested Socorro Rosa on two active warrants after responding to an unwanted subject at 23rd Street and Pima Avenue.

Police on Sept. 27 responded to West in reference to an abandoned vehicle at Bechtel and McRae roads that was reported stolen. James Brown was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. No charges were filed for the alleged theft, as his separated wife reported the vehicle to be stolen in Glendale, but allows him to take the car from time to time.

Police on Oct. 3 in the 1900 block of South Arizona Boulevard in reference to a fight. Rhianna Rodriquez was cited for disorderly conduct after she allegedly kicked a puddle that showered dirty water on the officer and the bar’s security.

Police on Oct. 3 conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Serena Alcantara for driving without taillights. Alcantara was cited and released for driving under the influence to the slightest degree and for driving under the influence above the legal BAC level of 0.08.

Police on Oct. 2 responded to the 1600 block of North Arizona Boulevard at the Walmart for an alleged shoplifting where Ronald Ventura, 41, was cited for concealing items in his pockets with no intention of paying for them.

Police on Sept. 28 responded to the 400 block of South Arizona Boulevard in reference to an alleged shoplifting. Wilburn Allgood was cited for shoplifting.

Police on Sept. 30 responded to an alleged assault by a family member on Kennedy Avenue, where Jonathan Dill was arrested Oct. 1 for punching his brother in the head six times.

Police on Sept. 29 responded to the Tractor Supply store in the 900 block of Northern Arizona Boulevard after Brandon Clark, 36, and Ricky Gibson, 19, attempted to steal a mini bike. Both suspects were placed under arrest, cited and released.

Police on Sept. 30 arrested Damien Soto for two alleged aggravated assaults against his girlfriend at their residence in the 100 block of West Pinkley Avenue. Soto is accused of cutting off the airflow of his girlfriend for three seconds.

Incidents and reports

Police on Sept. 23 told officers she was assaulted, including being hit on the top of the head with a gun and having a choke hold applied in the 200 block of West Elm Street. The case remains under investigation.

Police on Sept 27 discovered a forced entry in the 300 block of South Main Street st the Family Resource Center in which a Surveillance system hard drive and tools were taken.

Police on Sept. 15 responded in reference to a hit and run at Ninth Street and Northern Avenue. The case will be suspended until the driver of the other vehicle is identified.

Police on Oct. 3 responded to the 300 block of West Palo Verde Avenue where it was reported a kitchen window had been broken.
