Arrests & Citations
On July 15 Timothy Newell, 29, was arrested for three valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrants and for three valid and confirmed Pinal County Superior Court warrants after police attempted to stop him in the area of East Dirklay Avenue and South Washington Street for not having a rear reflector on his bicycle. He was later apprehended at 384 E. Central Ave.
On July 15 Charles Ramaila Rodriguez, 39, was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia after police said he was found standing by the dumpster behind the Hope International Food Pantry, 1280 N. Arizona Blvd.
On July 17 Larry Adams Jr., 28, was arrested for trespassing and criminal damage after police said he entered the fenced backyard of the vacant residence at 372 E. Dirklay Ave., removed the plywood covering the backdoor, threw a cinder block through the glass sliding door and entered the residence.
On July 24 Joshua Gear, 32, was cited and released for trespassing while Safeway, 1449 N. Arizona Blvd., after police received reports that he was was screaming at customers in the front parking lot. Police said he was warned earlier in the day not to return to the business.
On July 22 charges were filed against Bobby Cagle, 46, for possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop that took place near the Safeway parking lot, 1449 N. Arizona Blvd.
On July 22 charges were filed against Andrea Lopez, 28, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop that took place near the Safeway parking lot, 1449 N. Arizona Blvd.
On July 26 charges were filed against Kimberly Lost, 44, for criminal trespassing at 469 W. Taylor Ave., possession of dangerous drugs, marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia after police were dispatched to Dollar General, 1797 S. Arizona Blvd.
On July 17 charges were filed against Cody Medina, 30, for possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia after police said he was found walking on the railroad tracks located near the intersection of West Northern Avenue and North 1st Street.
On July 26 charges were filed against Jimmy Fansler, 47, for disorderly conduct with a dangerous instrument and violation of a court order following a physical altercation that took place at the residence located at 535 E. Lincoln Ave.
On July 16 charges were filed against Curtis Jeffries, 38, for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession while at the intersection of West Pima Avenue and North Arizona Blvd.
On July 14 charges were filed against Luis Quinones Gomez, 24, for driving under the influence after he was involved in a collision with a trailer that was being towed by another vehicle, resulting in the roll over of his jeep near the intersection of South La Palma Road and West Turquois Road. The other passenger in the jeep was airlifted to the hospital.
On July 24 David Jackson, 27, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrant, two valid and confirmed Florence/Coolidge JP1 warrants, and cited for drug paraphernalia and a stop sign violation following a traffic stop that took place at Great Western Bank, 635 N. Arizona Blvd.
On July 21 Breanna Perez, 28, was cited and released for permitting a minor to drive and possession of marijuana following a traffic stop that took place in 800 block of West Pima Avenue.
On July 26 Omar Mejia, 18, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Eloy city warrant following a traffic stop that took place in the area of West Wilson Avenue and South Kenworthy Road.
On July 16 Quincy Wilson, 42, was arrested for two valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrants while at 903 N. California St. He was later released on his own recognizance.
Theft, Burglary & Criminal Damage
On July 11 it was reported that an unknown woman lost control of her black SUV, going right through the yards of the residences located at 941, 931, and 921 W. Martin Rd. The woman then fled the scene. The incident destroyed eight decorative railroad ties that where at the front of one home and a PVC pipe and valve inside an irrigation box. Estimated loss $425.
On July 19 it was reported that an unknown woman and an unknown man shoplifted a Garmin GPS system, a Safetech backup camera and a package of BBQ Chicken wings from Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $214.
On July 29 it was reported that that an unknown person(s) attempted to break the glass front door at the San Carlos Irrigation Office, 120 S. 3rd St., resulting in damage. Estimated loss $200.
On July 28 it was reported that an unknown man shoplifted two 18 packs of Budweiser from Speedway Gas Station, 780 N. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $35.98.
On July 23 it was reported that an unknown person stole a gold-colored iPad Air 2 from one of the residences located at 1050 S. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $600.
On July 22 it was reported that an unknown woman shoplifted from Shope’s IGA, 1940 S. Arizona Blvd., when she took a package of Simply Done Aluminum Foil to the women’s bathroom and ripped off a section without paying for the item. Estimated loss $1.49.
On July 22 it was reported that an unknown man stole a cellphone from an individual who was parked at Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd., after he asked to borrow the phone and then did not return it. Estimated loss $250.
On July 24 it was reported that an unknown person(s) stole a 2002 Dodge Dakota that was parked in the driveway of 613 S. 12th St. Estimated loss $5,000.
