Arrests & Citations
On July 12 Gabriel Garcia, 19, was arrested on charges of domestic violence assault, domestic violence disorderly conduct and domestic violence criminal damage after police said he allegedly assaulted a woman at 920 N. Sonora St.
On July 13 Sean Nelle, 36, was arrested on charges of assault, unlawful imprisonment, marijuana possession for sale, marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia after police said he allegedly assaulted two women at 1143 N. Mesquite Lane.
On July 7 Ranice Williams, 54, was cited and released for driving with a suspended license and failure to yield following a traffic accident that occurred at the intersection of West Martin Road and South Arizona Boulevard.
On July 10 Terrance McKinney, 29, was arrested on charges of drug paraphernalia possession, criminal trespassing and for two valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrants. He was arrested at 382 E. Dirklay Avenue, after police responded to reports of a trespassing incident on the property.
On July 6 charges were forwarded against Stephen Thompson, 28, for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of narcotic drugs after he was discovered unconscious at the wheel of his vehicle at the intersection of Skousen Road and State Route 87.
On July 11 Codey Mattingly, 26, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Pinal County Superior Court warrant during a traffic stop that occurred near the Bottle Stop Liquor Store, 474 S. Arizona Blvd.
On July 10 Joshua Bishop, 27, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrant and cited for drug paraphernalia possession and a stop sign violation following a traffic stop that took place near the area of North California Street and East Vah Ki Inn Road.
On July 6 John Jeffries Sr., 59, was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of dangerous drugs, tampering with physical evidence, resisting arrest and failure to obey a lawful order following a traffic stop that took place at the intersection of North Skousen and East Martin Roads, where he allegedly fled from police and used physical force to resist arrest. Police said that following his arrest Jeffries reportedly crushed methamphetamine into the floorboard of the police cruiser he was secured in.
On July 2 Alexandro Alvarez, 28, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrant and cited for driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop that took place in the 700 block of South 11th Street. He was later released on his own recognizance.
On July 3 George Cruz, 57, was arrested on charges of dangerous drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, knowingly displaying a fictions license plate, driving on a suspended license, making an improper right turn and for two valid and confirmed Eloy city warrants following a traffic stop in the 500 block of West Lincoln Avenue.
On July 2 William Jarrell Jr., 43, was arrested in the 400 block of West Kennedy Avenue for a valid and confirmed Pinal County Superior Court warrant.
Theft, Burglary & Criminal Damage
On July 10 it was reported that an unknown man and an unknown woman shoplifted a Hoover vacuum from Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $88.
On June 22 it was reported that on June 7 an unknown person(s) damaged the chainlink gate at the Coolidge High School Football field in the 500 Block of North 7th Place. Estimated loss $3,000.
On June 22 it was reported that sometime between June 17 and June 22 an unknown person(s) stole a 2019 John Deere Gator from the agriculture learning area at Coolidge High School, 684 W. Northern Ave. Estimated loss $8,000.
On July 7 it was reported that an unknown person stole Spring Field Armory XD 9 millimeter handgun from the residence located at 515 E. Lincoln Ave. Estimated loss $500.
