Arrests & citations
On June 26 Tyrell Thomas, 23, was arrested on charges of domestic violence aggravated assault, endangerment and threatening and intimidating after police said he assaulted a woman and pulled out a rifle during a dispute that occurred at the Desert Palm Apartments, 1070 N. Eighth Place.
On June 26 Eric Felix, 34, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to show a driver’s license following a traffic stop in the area of West Byrd Avenue and North Arizona Boulevard.
On June 20 Rosario Moreno, 33, was arrested on charges of possession of dangerous drugs, Marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, having an open alcohol container in a vehicle, driving on a suspended license and for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrant during a traffic stop that took place in the 400 block of West Byrd Avenue. She was later released on her own recognizance.
On June 19 Shelly Springer, 43, was arrested on charges of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana and for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrant following a collision that occurred in the area of West Coolidge Avenue and South Kenworthy Road. She was later released on her own recognizance.
On June 25 Jymie Viola, 30, was arrested for five valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrants after he was released from the Arizona Department of Corrections in Florence.
On June 25 Matthew Skinner, 31, was arrested for two valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrants while in the 400 block of Byrd Avenue. He was later leased on his own recognizance.
On July 8 Ronald Brower, 58, was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop that took place near Speedway, 780 N. Arizona Blvd.
On June 30 Michael Kazas, 34, was cited and released for criminal trespassing after police said he entered and remained unlawfully in a towing truck that was parked in front of 249 S. 14th Circle.
On June 29 Denise Valenzuela Mendoza, 21, was cited and released for disorderly conduct following a dispute that occurred at 1040 N. Arizona Blvd.
On June 29 Juan Mendoza, 19, was cited and released disorderly conduct following a dispute that occurred at 1040 N. Arizona Blvd.
Theft, burglary & criminal damage
On June 27 it was reported that an unknown person(s) stole a leaf blower and a yellow power washer belonging to the Speedway gas station, 780 N. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $1,000.
On June 26 it was reported that an unknown person driving a tan Chevy Trailblazer struck a private dump truck it was attempting to pass near the intersection of State Route 287 and North Attaway Road and fled the scene.
On July 10 it was reported that a stolen 2003 Ford F350 was recovered near the intersection of North Macrae Road and State Route 87.
On July 3 it was reported that sometime between July 2 at 6:45 p.m. and July 3 at 7:38 a.m. an unknown person stole a black GMC Sierra from the driveway of a residence located at 563 S. Ninth Place. The vehicle was later recovered in Florence.
