Arrests & Citations

On June 18 Jeffrey Harris, 28, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of narcotic drugs and possession of narcotic drugs for sale following a traffic stop that took place in the intersection of West Vah Ki Inn Road and North Cota Lane. Police said Harris was found in possession of about 270 M30 Fentanyl pills.

On June 5 Crystal Rodrigues, 34, was arrested for three valid and confirmed Pinal County Superior Court warrants and two valid and confirmed Coolidge city court warrants during a traffic stop that took place near Garrett Motors, 197 N. Arizona Blvd.

On June 5 Joe Granado Jr., 28, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrant while attempting to pick up a vehicle that was stopped by officers near Garrett Motors, 197 N. Arizona Blvd.

On June 16 charges were filed against Anthony Rocker, 30, for possession of dangerous drugs after police said they located two M30 Fentanyl pills in his vehicle during a traffic stop that took place in the area of Taylor Avenue and Arizona Boulevard.

On June 11 Amber Zamora, 40, was cited and released for shoplifting a 3.5 AMP Hyper Tough Jig Saw and a 16 Inch Extra Large Pizza from Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd., on May 8. Estimated loss $25.47.

On June 9 charges were forwarded against Selena Sanchez, 24, for possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop that occurred in the 100 block of West Palo Verde Avenue.

On June 9 Emmitt Spurlock Jr., 24, was arrested for three valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrants following a traffic stop that occurred in the 100 block of West Palo Verde Avenue.

On June 14 Kristina Slaughter, 25, was arrested for a valid and confirmed city of Casa Grande Warrant and committing fraud after police said she attempted to fraudulently return two airbeds, which she did not pay for, using an old receipt to Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd.

On June 13 Chad Chester, 35, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault after police said he threw a cup at another resident of the home located at 2870E. Eliza Circle during an argument, punched her in the face and injured his two children.

On June 10 Corey Harris, 27, was arrested for two valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrants and for possession of Marijuana following a traffic stop in the area of 1100 West Northern Avenue.

On June 8 Dominic Hampton, 27, was cited and released on charges of having an open alcohol container in a vehicle and failure to stop for a stoplight during a traffic stop that occurred at the intersection of West Northern Avenue and North Arizona Boulevard.

Theft, Burglary & Criminal Damage

On June 15 it was reported that an unknown person(s) cut the chain off the chain link fence around a water pump located in the 1200 block of North Reeves Road and stole removed all the copper wire to the pump. Estimated loss $15,000.

On June 14 it was reported an unknown woman shoplifted a portable cell phone charger from Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $52.83

On June 14 it was reported that an unknown person stole a 1999 Ford F250 pickup truck the was parked in the driveway of the residence located at 972 W. Aztec Rd. Estimated loss $3,500.

On June 12 it was reported that an unknown man shoplifted two 12 packs of Corona beer from Circle K, 495 S. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $36.76.

On June 10 it was reported that an unknown man attempted to pay for food and exchange two counterfeit $50 bills for a $100 bill while in the McDonalds Drive Thru, 900 N. Arizona Blvd.
