Arrests & Citations
On June 4 Cecil Jackson Jr., 29, was arrested on charges of burglary, assault and possession of marijuana after police said he entered an apartment located at 231 W Elm Ave., rifled through the residents’ property and got into a physical altercation with one of the residents.
On May 28 Franklin Shaw, 48, was cited and released on charges of dangerous drug possession, possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs for transport, Marijuana possession, possession of Marijuana for sale, possession of Marijuana for transport, possession of drug paraphernalia, having an open alcohol container in a vehicle and for a stop sign violation following a traffic stop in the 600 block of West Taylor Avenue. Police said they found a glass smoking device and a gallon sized zip lock bag containing smaller zip lock bags with marijuana in them in his vehicle. Police also said a pouch containing a clear bag with methamphetamine and $252 in cash was also located on Shaw’s person.
On June 3 Marcel Brown, 27, was arrested on charges of domestic violence robbery and possession of drug paraphernalia after police said he yanked his girlfriend’s purse off her shoulder while in the Walmart Parking Lot, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd.
On June 3 William Jarrell Jr., 43, was arrested in the 300 block of West Kennedy Avenue for two valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrants, a valid and confirmed town of Florence warrant and on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of dangerous drugs.
On May 30 Andrew Stone, 31, was cited and released in the parking lot of Tractor Supply on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia after police said they found a glass smoking device on his person.
On May 29 John Jacobs Jr., 52, was arrested for two valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrants following a traffic stop that occurred at West Wilson Avenue and South 7th Street.
On June 4 Alanna Brewer, 30, was cited and released for littering on a highway after she reportedly threw a lit cigarette out of her car window along State Route 87 near South 5th Street. Police said the sides of the highway contained dry brush.
On June 2 Antonio Sebastian, 30, was arrested on charges of assault (domestic violence) and for a valid and confirmed City of Casa Grande warrant after police said he reportedly hit his girlfriend multiple times during an argument that occurred at 452 W. Roosevelt Ave.
On June 4 Arnold Boni III, 39, was arrested at Circle K, 495 S. Arizona Blvd. for a valid and confirmed Pinal County Superior Court warrant.
On May 29 Cody Carter, 28, was cited and released on charges of driving under the influence following a traffic stop that took place at Circle K, 495 S. Arizona Blvd.
On May 31 Makayla Alston, 18, was cited and released for assault (domestic violence) after police said she reportedly punched her sister in the nose while at 450 W. Lindbergh Avenue.
On May 27 Cornelio Higuera, 63, was cited and released on charges of driving under the influence and possession an open container of liquor inside a vehicle during a traffic stop that took place at South Kenworthy Road and West Martin Road.
On June 1 Charles Lopez Jr., 25, was arrested on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop that took place at the intersection of West Lindbergh Avenue and North 4th Street.
On June 2 charges were forwarded against Jeffrey Harris, 28, for possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a glass smoking device with methamphetamine residue in it, a pink straw and 18 different piece of aluminum foil with burn marks and residue on them in a trash bin located at 515 E. Lincoln Ave. after being called to the residence for a disturbance.
On May 30 Demitri Vaughn, 28, was cited and released for possession of Marijuana following a traffic stop that took place in the 100 block of West Elm Street.
On May 30 Carlos White Jr., 28, was arrested for a valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrant following a traffic stop that took place in the 100 block of West Elm Street.
Theft, Burglary & Criminal Damage
On June 3 it was reported that an unknown person entered the residence at 781 N. 4th St. and took several items including some vases and a scanner. Estimated loss $75.
On June 3 it was reported that an unknown man tossed out several counterfeit dollar bills out of a vehicle in front of Shope’s Market, 1940 S. Arizona Boulevard.
On May 29 it was reported that an unknown man and an unknown woman shoplifted two red bull drinks and an unknown number and variety of meat packages from Safeway, 1449 N. Arizona Blvd.
