Arrests & Citations
On May 21 Christopher Mack, 24, was charged with Marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop that occurred at the intersection of South Arizona Boulevard and West Palo Verde Avenue.
On May 20 James Carter, 27, was charged with possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop that took place near East Vah Ki Inn Road and North California Street after police said they located a blue M30 Fentanyl Pill wrapped in burnt tin foil and a cut straw with black residue in his vehicle.
On May 18 Christopher Cartwright, 28, was charged with possession of dangerous drugs following a traffic stop in the 700 block of West Northern Avenue after police said they located cocaine in the glove compartment of the vehicle he was in.
On May 22 Charles Lopez Jr., 25, was charged with possession of Marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia while stopped outside the Family Dollar, 555 N. Arizona Blvd.
On May 28 Jon Jaress, 32, was arrested for two valid and confirmed warrants out of Maricopa while at 735 W. Dewey Ave.
On May 27 Jerry Ramsey, 35, was arrested for a valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrant during a traffic stop that occurred at the intersection of East Congress Avenue and North Adams Street.
On May 27 Alfred Lara, 42, was arrested for a valid and confirmed Coolidge Municipal court warrant while at 404 W. Bealey Ave.
On May 27 Timothy Newell, 29, was arrested for two valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrants in the area of North Navajo Lane and West Caroline Street.
On May 22 Nestor Mendivil, 58, was arrested on charges of aggravated driving under the influence following a traffic stop in the area Chuichu and Shedd Road during a Stonegarden Detail in Casa Grande. Police said he had a three year old child with him in the vehicle.
On May 26 Michael Tapia, 34, was arrested on charges of possession of a weapon as a prohibited possessor, possession of a weapon in a felony offense, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop that took place at 466 W. Kennedy Ave.
On May 22 Rontier Mathis, 21, was cited and released for reckless driving while at 618 W. Dewey Ave. for an incident that occurred on the 21st along South Arizona Boulevard near West Coolidge Avenue when police said he allegedly “popped a wheelie” while driving his ATV.
On May 9 Lee North, 62, was cited and released for driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop that took place near the intersection of West Seagoe Avenue and South Main Street.
On May 18 Ruben Tristan, 39, was cited and released on charges of disorderly conduct after police said he reportedly harassed the residents at 320 W. Byrd Ave on May 12.
On May 21 Brittany Duncan, 32, was cited and released on charges of criminal damage after police said she reportedly broke the front bedroom window of the residence located at 150 E. Patton Ave. during an argument with another resident. Estimated loss $300.
Theft, Burglary & Criminal Damage
On May 25 it was reported that sometime between the hours of 8 p.m. and 11:14 p.m. an unknown person(s) threw a large rock through the driver’s side front window of a 1998 Ford Taurus parked outside the residence located at 452 W. Roosevelt Ave. Estimated loss $100.
On May 25 it was reported that an unknown person stole $320 from a wallet that was found on the ground outside of Tractor Supply, 950 N. Arizona Blvd. The wallet was later turned over to employees at the store.
