Arrests & Citations

On Mar. 27 Alfonso Palacios, 39, was arrested on charges of urinating in public in the Walmart parking lot, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd.

On Mar. 29 Ikaika Akiona, 23, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to transport or sell and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop that occurred in the 1600 block of West Shannons Way. Police said he was found in possession of 7.51 ounces of marijuana, over the legal limit for a medical marijuana card holder, a digital pocket scale, several sandwich baggies, $186 in cash and a “rolling tray.”

On Mar. 30 Frank Chubick, 50, was cited and released on charges of shoplifting several items from Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd., after police said he purchased only one item at the register and exited the store without paying for the rest. Estimated loss $42.

On Mar. 30 Nathaniel Leonard, 29, was arrested for two valid and confirmed Coolidge city warrants while walking out by KCF, 1505 N. Arizona Blvd.

On April 3 Victoria Alvarez-Zuniga, 18, was cited and released on charges of criminal damage after police said she reportedly threw rocks at a vehicle parked in the driveway of 412 W. Walton Ave.

On April 3 Joshua Gear, 32, was arrested on charges of criminal damage after police said he scratched the top of a vehicle parked in the driveway of 1234 W. Pinkley Ave. with a knife. Estimated loss $500.

On Mar. 28 Quinnisha Dearing, 21, was cited and released on charges of trespassing and shoplifting miscellaneous make up items from Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd., after police said she and a juvenile were seen by store employees removing make up and cosmetic items from their packaging and placing them in pockets and purses. Estimated loss $216.91.

On April 1 Salvador Moreno Jr., 19, was arrested on charges of assault, disorderly conduct and domestic violence criminal damage after police said he got into an argument and physical altercation with his girlfriend while at 781 N. 4th St.

On April 1 Camelia Montoya, 19, was cited and released on charges of assault and domestic violence disorderly conduct after police said she got into an argument and physical altercation with her boyfriend at 781 N. 4th St.

On April 1 Jose Yucupicio, 26, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia and for a valid and confirmed Pinal County Superior Court warrant after police said he reportedly stabbed his cousin in the the neck and head area while at 452 W. Roosevelt Ave.

On April 1 Desiree Cade, 36, was arrested for eight valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrants and for two valid and confirmed Felony Pinal County Superior court warrants while at an apartment at 901 N. California St.

On April 1 Therin Castillo, 38, was arrested for two valid and confirmed city of Coolidge warrants while at 653 W. Northern Ave.

On Mar. 31 Cody Mattingly, 25, was arrested for 4 valid and confirmed City of Coolidge Warrants following a traffic stop that occurred near the intersection of West Pinkley Avenue and North Arizona Boulevard.

On Mar. 29 Olicia Bennet, 39, was cited and released on charges of shoplifting and possession of marijuana following a traffic stop that occurred after police were informed that she and another woman shoplifted several items of clothing, a 32 pack of 5 liter water bottles and three backpacks of various color. Estimated loss $544.

On Mar. 29 Domiqua Wimbush, 41, was cited and released on charges of shoplifting and possession of marijuana after police were informed that she and another woman shoplifted several items of clothing, a 32 pack of 5 liter water bottles and three backpacks of various color from Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $544.

On Mar. 29 Sheri Walker, 49, was cited and released for driving on a suspended license after the vehicle she was driving was pulled over in connection with a shoplifting incident that occurred at Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd.

On Mar. 29 Rachel Pond, 31, was arrested for two valid and confirmed warrants and on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop that occurred near the intersection of East Randolph Road and North Sierra Drive.

On Mar. 29 Ramon Lopez Jr., 27, was arrested for a valid and confirmed warrant during a traffic stop that occurred near the intersection of East Randolph Road and North Sierra Drive.

On Mar. 24 Stephanie Moore, 21, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and for a valid and confirmed Florence city court warrant and a valid and confirmed Casa Grande JP #2 warrant after police said she was involved in a street fight. The incident occurred in front of 557 N. Main St.

Theft, Burglary & Criminal Damage

On Mar. 27 it was reported that an unknown woman and an unknown man committed robbery when they stole a purse from a woman outside of Walmart, 1695 N. Arizona Blvd. The purse contained the victim’s iPhone 7 and $20 in cash. Estimated loss $860.

On Mar. 27 it was reported that on Feb. 25 an unknown person(s) stole a Smith & Wesson 9 millimeter handgun from the garage of the residence located at 333 W. Wilson Ave. Estimated loss $350.

On Mar. 30 it was reported that an unknown person(s) stole a black Dell laptop from the backseat of a vehicle that was parked outside of 555 N. 6th Place. Estimated loss $1,000.

On April 2 it was reported that an unknown man shoplifted five hazelnut coffee creamers and a pack of brown sugar and cinnamon Pop Tarts from Circle K, 495 S. Arizona Blvd. Estimated loss $1.79.
