The Eloy Fire District responded to the following calls for the week ending Sept 1st, 2019. The district also responded to 2 calls from an outside agency for assistance.

Aug. 26

At 1:17 pm in the 700 block of W. Martin Luther King St. E521 responded to a Smoke Investigation. EN521 Crew arrived to find an extinguished fire by the occupant. BC521 made contact with the owner and crews were cleared for quarters.

Aug. 28

At 12:40 pm at milepost 201 of Interstate 10. EN522 responded for a report of a Semi Fire. EN522 on scene reported smoldering brakes with no fire showing. Fire had been extinguished prior to EN522 arrival with a fire extinguisher. EN522 crew checked for additional hazards with the thermal Imaging camera to find no additional extension into the trailer of the semi. DPS arrived on-scene and EN522 crew cleared and returned to service.

At 2:58 pm in the 3000 block of W. Houser Rd. E522 was dispatched for a Fire alarm activation. While enroute to the call BC521 was notified that it was an alarm test and all responding units could cancel per the alarm company. Crews returned to quarters

Aug. 30

At 7:40 pm in the 600 block of W. Frontier St. E521 was dispatched for a residential structure fire. EN521 arrived on scene to find nothing showing.EN521 crew investigated the scene to determine that and electrical issue had occurred creating electrical arching to an outside structure but no fire.BC521 arrived on-scene and requested additional resources from the electrical company to respond. EN521’s crew was able to isolate and de-energize the power outlet at the electrical panel. Crews checked for any other issues and found none. All units were cleared and returned to service

Aug. 31

At 9:28 pm in the 3000 block of W. Milligan Rd. E521 was dispatched for a Fire alarm activation. EN521 arrived on-scene to find a water flow alarm sounding.EN521 crew began to investigate and was met by the facility personnel who assisted with locating the water flow.EN521 crew located a broken sprinkler head flowing. On-site personnel were able to secure the system and Crews returned to quarters.

The Eloy Fire District responded to the following EMS calls for the week ending Sept. 1st, 2019.

Station One ran 45 Medical related calls and 2 Motor Vehicle Accidents.

Station two ran 20 Medical related calls and 2 Motor Vehicle Accident.

There were 3 reported public assistance service call responded to.
