The Eloy Fire District responded to the following calls for the week ending Sept 15. The district also responded to 6 calls from an outside agency for assistance.

Sept. 9

At 8:31 pm in the 3000 block of W. Vaquero Dr. EN522 was dispatched for a Rubbish Fire in the area. EN522 arrived on-scene to find a controlled burn without a permit. Owner extinguished the fire upon EN522 arrival. EN522 cleared

Sept. 10

At 4:55 pm in the 10000 Block of N. La Palma Rd. E521 was dispatched for a rubbish fire in the area. BC521 arrived on-scene to find a couple of rubbish fires burning unattended. EN521 arrived on-scene and assigned to extinguish the burn piles. Crew completed assignment and returned to quarters

At 8 pm in the 3000 block of W. Tollan Dr. EN522 was dispatched for a Rubbish Fire in the area. EN522 arrived on-scene to find a already extinguished fire with no smoke or heat. EN522 tried to make contact with the homeowner to no avail. EN522 cleared and went available

Sept. 14

At 1:24 pm in the intersection of Henness Rd and Houser Rd.EN522 was dispatched for a Vehicle Fire. EN522 arrived on-scene to find a fully involved SUV. EN522 pulled an attack line and extinguished the fire. EN522 remained on-scene for some time doing overhaul and awaiting RP’s family to arrive. EN522 completed the assignment and went available.

The Eloy Fire District responded to the following EMS calls for the week ending Sept. 15.

Station One ran 46 Medical related calls and 2 Motor Vehicle Accidents.

Station two ran 8 Medical related calls and 0 Motor Vehicle Accident.

There were 7 reported public assistance service call responded to.

The Eloy Fire District responded to the following calls for the week ending Sept 22. The district also responded to 6 calls from an outside agency for assistance.

Sept. 16

At 2:33 pm in the 700 block of W. Battaglia Rd. EN521 was dispatched for powerlines touching a tree in the area sparking. EN521 arrived on-scene to find no immediate hazards. Units were then called for multiple other calls due to bad weather. APS was notified.

At 2:48 pm in the intersection of Hinton Street and Alsdorf Road. EN521 and M521 was dispatched for powerlines down in the area. EN521 had to re-route to another call. M521 arrived on-scene to find downed powerlines and APS working on the issue.M521 remained on-scene for a short amount of time blocking the road until APS cleared them.

At 3:03 pm in the intersection of D Street and 5th Street. EN521 was dispatched for powerlines down in the area. EN521 arrived on-scene to find a tree that was knocked over bearing weight onto the powerlines. Crews cleared and evacuated the area. The road was shut down by the City of Eloy and Units waited on-scene for APS arrival.

At 4:13 pm in the intersection of Eleven Mile Corner Road and Houser Road. EN521 was dispatched for a fuel leak from a passenger vehicle. EN521 arrived on-scene and secured the leak on the vehicle. The tow company arrived and crews went available.

Sept. 20

At 2:16 am in the 400 block of E. 3rd Street. EN521, EN522, BC521 was dispatched for a residential structure fire. EN521 arrived on-scene to find a working fire on the back covered patio of the residence spreading into the structure. EN521 assumed command and began a quick knock down of the fire. Battalion Chief 521 arrived on-scene and assumed command, assigned EN521 to fire attack. Crews made entry into the structure to confirm everyone was out of the building and safe while working on putting the fire out. EN522 arrived on-scene after making a water supply for the first due engine. EN521 crews got the fire under control and was able to stop the loss of property. Crews remained on-scene for some time cleaning up and the fire Investigator was notified for investigation purposes.

Sept. 22

At 5:19 pm in the 1000 block of North G Street. EN521 was dispatched for a downed powerline. EN521 arrived on-scene to find the powerline into the house and severed and was laying on the ground. The residence were moved to a safe location until APS was able to arrive and fix the issue. Crew remained on-scene establishing a safe area with the assistance of Eloy PD. APS arrived and the scene was turned over to them. Crews returned to quarters.

Station One ran 30 Medical related calls and 1 Motor Vehicle Accident.

Station two ran 12 Medical related calls and 2 Motor Vehicle Accidents.
